Don't waste your money!!

Worst program ever!! I have had it for a month and have taken over a thousand pictures on my nikon and have only been. Able to download about 25 pictures to my iPad! It does not keep a connection long enough to download pictures and then when it does it disconnects and then you have to start all over again!! Worthless and very frustrating!! Does not even deserve a one star but that is the lowest it goes!!!

This is my second review (I never review apps) because this is such an utter piece of crap. I can’t believe a company like Nikon would even let this on the market. Literally wasted hours and hours trying simply to download NEF files (which you can ONLY do one at a time) and there are multiple issues. It’s simply awful. Nikon, what the hell.
No iOS11 support

I’ve been trying to setup the adapter with this app for the past week or so and it just doesn’t seem to work with iOS11. I don’t believe it is a hardware issue with the adapter as I’m able to connect to the Wifi network (sometimes after turning my phone to airplane mode).

Kind of a pain to get to know, but overall worth it. First, understand that it communicates via WIFI, not Bluetooth. Second, other WiFi signals close by will make it disconnect often and easily. Turn off any WiFi on other near by devices. That helped me out a lot in my hotel room. I just turned off my phone WiFi. Once I did that it worked like a charm on my iPad. For what it does, this little device is all right. But it IS finicky. When it works, good stuff.
Please add better support for iOS 11

I like the idea of the app, but it is kind of a pain that the only way that you can download images fast is if the phone is in Airplane Mode. There must be something that you guys can do to fix these glitchy problems.

As of October 14th, 2017, this app does not work with IOS11.03. The phone recognizes the camera Wi-Fi but the camera keeps “waiting for connection” and eventually the phone reverts back to another available connection. It worked fine with IOS10.
Disconnecting all the time

I spent over $2000 on Nikon products. You guys should use that money to make this app a little better. I would love it if my camera could connect for at least 2 mins, then I think there might be some improvement.

Have been using this App for several years. The app has been doing great. Read other reviews on connecting and you will love this app also.

I really love the fact that I can link my camera to my cell phone via WiFi. However, as much as I love Nikon, this app comes to a total disappointment! I enjoy the fact I can transfer my photos from my camera to my cellphone with this app. I really despise the fact that one cannot adjust the basic settings to the camera from the cellphone to take pictures with this app. This app needs a lot of improvement. Nikon should have placed more effort in creating a more useful app. Now if only Nikon would listen to their customers to improve their products...
