This is a definite upgrade from my old timer! Works great!

Would give this company zero stars if I could. Had nothing but issues from the moment I plugged it in. Google smart devices couldnt even find it and Amazon devices were able to turn the plug on for a week despite it saying it was unavailable. Now its a hunk of plastic that might as well be a paperweight. Tried multiple resets and uninstalling the app but the app cannot find the device or if it does it says its already installed despite their being nothing listed. Do not waste your money on Wemo products! Buy something from a reputable and reliable company!

Not bad but need improvements

The units themselves are alright. Most of the time the work as advertised but there are too many times they loose connection with Alexa and don’t respond to voice commands even though opening the Wemo app I can still control them. Additionally, the app will only display 3 plugs. I have 4 and can’t see them all at the same time. This seems like a serious flaw in design. Do you only want people to own 3 of your devices?

I bought 2 wemo smart outdoor plugs and had some issue in setting them up. I called up their tech support (Josie) few minutes ago and with ease she was able to setup and connect them to the rest of my other wemo light switches and mini plugs. Excellent tech support! This is the reason why I'm staying with wemo products.

I moved with new home Wi-Fi and tried several times to reconnect my Wemo. Unable. Called tech support. Got very polite knowledgeable tech and with several patient steps Wemo is back working. Bravo.

I got three Wemo plugs probably one in each design and I got one Wemo dimmer. Don’t do it.. The communication with your router is piss poor.. constantly hunting for the switches and reconnecting them.. One thing after another as the problems persisted with these things.. You’ll be literally throwing these things around your house. I got a whole bag of them-disconnected from my smart home.. The dimmer works good but still I don’t connect to the Wi-Fi or stay connected..There’s always a problemWith these things…

I was previously able to attach my Wemo Mini Smart Plugs and flawlessly control them with my iPhone using the Wemo app. Setting on/off rules was a breeze. It made a great smart timer. No more. I don’t know if it’s an Apple update or a Wemo update, but I can now set them up ***only*** in the Apple Home app, which doesn’t have the ability to set up on/off rules without buying a hub. So the Wemo plug is now useless as a smart timer. If I want to turn on the light that is plugged in to it, I can hunt around for my iPhone, unlock it, find and open the Apple Home app, navigate to the devices, and tap the smart plug icon. Or I can just reach over and turn the light switch. Useless.

I've wanted to love Wemo and my smart lights/plus terribly. However, I can't in good faith recommend this company anymore. Constant failed device updates, connectivity issues that require a power cycle, etc.. it's so frustrating having a remote device fail to update and become useless halfway across the state.

Can’t change wifi without reset

Would love these devices and the app except that when you change your wifi password or SSID you have to run around and hard reset every device and set them up from scratch again.
