I now have 3, please keep the app up to date and firmware coming. Thank you!!!!

I purchased 6 of these and the app is unbelievably awful. The concept for the device is terrific but the executions is way subpar. Fold out sheet about how easy it is to set up is a total scam. Updated the firmware on one, wouldn’t allow me to update it on any others - although pop up claimed they were! Terrible user experience. Just as horrendous is customer service! They can only read from a script and don’t actually understand what they’re trying to help you with. It’d be hysterically funny if it wasn’t such an waste of your time and money. Sending them all back.

The app and the switch itself are utterly unreliable and nearly impossible to set up.

These would be such great products if you could overcome an app that rarely works correctly. What's the point of buying the product if the only way to run it doesn't work??

I purchased 2 WeMo switch and they both have the same behavior. They lose connectivity to the WiFi and stop working. Had a difficult time setting them up and once I did, I was able to create rules for when they should turn on and off. At this point they work because of the rule. But if I want to turn on the outlet manually, I cannot because it cannot be found on the app. This is a big problem and Belkin should address it. Their support page does not give proper support only has issues that they identify, not the actual users. Not good.

I’m running iOS 11.2 Beta and the WeMo app won’t connect to WiFi. I know this isn’t the apps fault since I’m on beta but figured they should know. The only bummer is I can’t control my crockpot right now. Release a fix please.

I love the wemo smart plugs and switch’s. I have them ALL over my home. I especially love the way I can turn the Christmas tree lights on and off without have to crawl behind the tree!!

Very inconsistent and unreliable. Turning a light on/off should not be a frustrating task.

This app works as it should, I only wish that the options for notifications were more sophisticated. It relies on IFTTT aside from simple on-off notifications, but even IFTTT doesn’t allow for custom alerts. Things like “notify me when power consumption goes above/below X” would be great. Also, the data output options are limited and it would be nice to see more details there, ie charts over time.
