Used to work fine. Now all the sudden I’m not able to log in. Used to not even have to login in within network. Now.... who knows

We have 7 Mini Smart Plugs. They work great. Programming the app can be a little odd though. E.g. if you want something on from sunset to sunrise the next day you have have to create two rules. Wemo Mini Smart Plug

I use WeMo devices to control lighting in my home. I like the concept but I absolutely HATE the app, for one main reason: it INSISTS on logging me out between sessions, even if the app is running in the background. This has been happening since Day 1, and it is more than annoying.

I’ve used this app for several years, and unfortunately I cannot recommend it in the current automation environment. In the past several months, the issues have worsened markedly. It frequently disconnects and logs itself out, and since it doesn’t support Keychain, this often requires an account reset. Which is not at all helpful when I’m just trying to turn a light on. It’s unfortunate. But this has never been reliable and it appears to be getting worse. Too bad.

Total junk app where some days it detects the switches and plugs, but other days it can’t detect them. Half baked app that’s not gone through Q&A testing. Not reliable at all.

Stability and reliability have improved over the years. Please fix your annoying login. I don’t want to have to log in to an app once a week just to turn on my lights. Please put the user ID and password on the same screen so at lease my iPhone password is more convenient to use if you’re not going to fix the reliability of keeping me logged in to a local app.

As handy as most similar products, but I have to log in 3-4 times a week after scrambling to locate my login and password. Major inconvenience, usually at the most in opportune time. I use KASA as well and it is a totally different experience.

looses connection with app after upgrade. only solution is to reset network connections and add back all 20 of my other IOT devices.
