Cannot view .txt files after recent update

Earlier, I used to see the content in .txt files but with the latest update, that feature is bugged. When I open .txt files, it opens a blank white page and nothing is visible. Also, after opening .txt file, I cannot make top blue bar hidden and this is blocking first few lines of the file contents. The only option I have is to click "Done" which closes the file. (observed in previous version) I hope the users will get better quality update next time.
Constant issues

The app constantly times out trying to communicate to my book live or my cloud devices. Can’t connect to it on the road. Terrible interface. Not worth the money put into buying the product!
No iPhone photo compatible

Apps is ok but it is not compatible with some photos format which kills the whole idea about the app as you can’t se your photos

This app works fine at home, but once away from my home wifi it doesn’t work. I can access anything that’s on the my cloud! Very disappointing cause the app used to work. Things are suppose to get better with time this actually slid backwards!!!

Had my MyBook Live Duo for years, and for the last few years I can’t access it from the apps meaning I have no remote access. WD mishandled the conversion to MyCloud and all apps are useless, only new devices work and they aren’t very good unless at home. I really do miss it working! I could back up my devices like cell and PC, I have several at home and at parents, and some at in-law for multiple back ups and they too can have access. Now everything is manual and with Windows 10 it’s just awful. Everyone forgot about the end user. UPDATE: In fact, steer clear completely. WD will create new tech and apps and sites and delete your accounts as well as login info all while making it impossible to move docs off the drives. They will render all equipment useless and you will be forced to start over. Get a real server and toss this garbage to the trash before you’re stuck.

I too get the message that it’s off line. I started getting prompted to install certificate and when I do it doesn’t connect. I’ve had mine for a couple of years now and I use it to back up my three phones business personal just another phone. I like keep my phones cleaned up and having them back as a backup option. But that is annoying to be prompted to open the app. My business apps are on here from work so my phone will lock after 2 minutes but I’d like the upload to continue and backup while it’s locked if it started!!
