Terrible updated app

They eliminated the really good app they had and gave us a poorly designed app. If I win anything, the message just states “results are not available “ . It can take several hours to tell me $ I have won. It no longer highlights the numbers I have correctly chosen. I select my own numbers and like to see what #s won directly in my ticket. This poor app makes the lottery look like they don’t know much about how to play the game.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before entering all my info. The scanner used to be easy and quick and trustworthy. Now it doesn’t work at all. Very disappointing. I don’t want to buy more tickets if I can’t check them from home. I’m sometimes uncomfortable checking them in a public place. At this time, I can not recommend this app.

I used to use this app all the time looks like I’ll have to use a scanner at the store. I can’t log in can’t create a new account can’t scan anything. When an app works and is fine why put an update on that literally crashes the app to where u can’t use it?

Need my info to scan my ticket?!? And then... the new scanner doesn’t even work! Brilliant. What a USELESS app now. Way to make things far worse! Someone in app development for the lotto should be fired!!

It’s ridiculous that you have to sign in. Why require this? I am not setting up an account. I had previously enjoyed buying tickets during my weekly grocery trips. Now I don’t. It’s too much work to check my numbers since I can’t scan without an account. Oh well! On the bright side I’m saving money.

This used to be an easy way to scan your ticket. Now you have to sell your soul (aka personal information) in order to even scan a ticket?! Dumb. Deleting this worthless ap now.

I don’t play very often but every once in a while I figure I can afford to throw a couple of bucks at it when there’s a large jackpot. This app used to be a convenient way to quickly check your ticket. I guess there’s been some changes to the app since last I used it so that you now have to create and account just to check your ticket. Makes absolutely no sense. I don’t have to ID myself when I walk into a store and ask them to check the ticket. Basically they took all of the convenience out of the app in favor of personal data collection. Good bye app, and WA lottery.

This was a good app before the update now it is absolutely terrible since the update. You are now required to create an account to check tickets not sure what the logic behind that is. I think they ask for more info than needed to create account but even when I tried to create an account I keep getting an error “Unexpected server error please contact player services”. Do not recommend until they fix this app and maybe put it back the way it was.

I just deleted the app when I discover that you now need to supply a bunch of personal information in order to scan a ticket! The old version was great and provided a very simple user experience to check the tickets and view the winning numbers. Why require all this information and force people to sign in to simply check the ticket. Going back to using the web site or in-store kiosks.
