I loved the app when you just opened it and scanned my tickets. Now it’s ruined with required login with full personal data (talking address email birth date everything a hacker needs to steal your identity). It’s ruined and garbage now. Uninstalled instantly

Like all the other reviews said, they screwed the pooch on their apps so they can track and sell your information. This is disgusting that if I want to just check my ticket I have to provide ALL OF MY INFORMATION. I’m almost shocked that they didn’t ask for a social security number. Not only is their app stealing your information but even after I filled out and created an account it says that it’s locked and I need to contact a customer support person. Really glad that these vultures are allowed to operate a gambling app that is now going to further target you. Good job everyone involved, you made a quick and easy way to check tickets into a hair pulling exercise in frustration.

The update ruined this app. Boooo lottery commission! What moron thought implementing this scheme stood a rats chance of being successful with the public. Shame on you, you’re a public entity. Stop acting like a scam artist.

I was given some tickets as a gift (I NEVER buy them myself as I can do math and statistics). Downloaded this app to scan the two tickets given to me and immediately saw that they require you to give away an amazing amount of personal information before you can scan your tickets. Therefore I immediately deleted the app. Honestly, if you’re mathematically stunned enough to play for real, then I suppose you’re also ignorant enough to hand out your personal info too. But for me, this is just more proof as to why I don’t gamble.

Why do I need to create an account to scan my tickets?

This new functionality serves no useful purpose. Please change it back. And why would you need an ultra secure password to scan a ticket? And my address? And my phone number??? BTW- I’d rate this a zero if that were possible.

Wow worked at first but forget about it now. Third party wants all your info and it’s the freaking lotto. Tried to register and never even sent email but now says email being used click on link. 20 minutes no link. Not in junk filter either. Waste of time.

I appreciate the ability to scan your ticket; however, it is lacking game verification information. I scan a ticket and the app says loser; but, the draw date and numbers aren’t displayed at all. Uninstalling again...

Thank you for bringing the ticket scanner back without requiring an account, but it’s missing the most critical part which is to allow players to see that it scanned correctly for the right game. The old app used to show you the game date, multiplier for that game, the winning numbers, and the numbers on the ticket so you could see that it was in fact a winning or losing ticket. Now it just says “SORRY NOT A WINNER. THANK YOU FOR PLAYING MEGA MILLIONS”. But without seeing that the ticket was scanned correctly, and I just supposed to trust that it is in fact a losing ticket? I haven’t gotten a winning ticket to see if it still shows how much was won, but I hope it’s still there. Thank you for bringing back the scanner, but please bring back all of the previous functionality from the old apps ticket scanner so the WA Lottery players know with 100% certainty of our results.

This used to be a good app but they ruined it. Now when you scan your tickets you can’t tell if it’s accurate. It just says not a winner. It used to show you the winning numbers, your ticket numbers and the date. That way you see if it is actually working. Now the app could be malfunctioning and you would never know it. If I could give zero stars I would.
