I reviewed this app and was hoping to enjoy it based upon not having to sync my bank accounts. However it’s awful and does not provide easy view graphing or easy manual Input. It doesn’t allow a free trial and instead of paying the monthly subscription fee it offered it had me pay the annual fee of $43 and some change. Do not purchase. Was easier to track expenses with a pen and paper rather than this bogus app.

Crashes on open on all attempts. Anyway, the original Wally (later branded “Wally Lite”) was much better. If I wanted an app the connected to my bank accounts and had a subscription “Pro” version I would have been using Mint this whole time. I wanted a simple, fully offline & secure, budget tracker and that’s why I and thousands of others chose Wally. No more ?

There is no such thing as a budgeting app that is worth anything. There is only one good feature on this app..real time importing. In the 21st Century you’d think this would be easy. Not format friendly. No real customization. The Automatic categorizing is always wrong on every app. Very sad!

It duplicates my daily savings charges and doesn’t allow me to tag my digit savings to its personal fund. Waste of money.

At first the app crashed every time I tried to add a bank account. Now it won’t even open. I really wanted to like this app, but the current version isn’t working.

I wanted to love Wally- but it is so glitchy I can’t stand it. I don’t want anything fancy, just simple functionality and accuracy- my app keeps freezing, duplicating expenses that it imports from my accounts, and forgetting how I categorized things. So frustrating.

Accounts do not sync wi h regularity, and interface for categorizing transactions is not user friendly.

There are a ton of bugs - enough to drive you absolutely insane. Recurring expenses don’t work, calendar view jumps around erratically, budget update attempts constantly rejected due to “server error”. Wish I hadn’t paid a year in advance for the premium. Ugh.

Wally used to be the best budget app out there but then they did away with lite and changed the format completely which makes it just like other non-usable budget apps. It’s a bit disappointing. Which they would offer the lite version again, would pay for it.
