No support, accounts don’t link

Barboryte

I paid for Gold. The app does not update to Gold and does not allow to link bank accounts. There is no one to reach out to, no support function only feedback. A financial app that does not do updates foe months is scary. The interface is too complex and not user friendly. I will stick with You Need A budget. P.s. got some sort of training email that assumed it already sent me something so help section starts in the middle of the course. They need lots of work here.

Couldn’t even use the app

twentyfour24

I wanted to download the app because I heard great things. Unfortunately I couldn’t even sign up without it shutting down multiple times. Shame.

Get this app off of the App Store

aykaytee

This feels like a scam. How their rating is four stars is beyond me. How this app is still on the App Store is beyond me. A paid financial app with zero customer service is inexcusable. Unfortunately, I didn’t read all the reviews before I made some in-app purchases. There is no customer support. I have sent four emails in a week asking for a refund. No response whatsoever. This company is a joke. I was just trying out the app to see which one would best fit our needs but I paid for a premium add-on because I can’t tell what would be best without being able to see transactions from my bank(?!) and I just want my money back. I haven’t even used the app. It’s confusing and who budgets daily instead of monthly???

Impressive variety of features, terrible speeds

fjenekagkrsakdj

The swath of available features is quite impressive (this is one of the few budgeting apps that I've found with the ability to include photos of receipts in an easy fashion). However, the speed of the app is so slow. The autocomplete for restaurant locations is incredibly slow and just basic operations should not take a noticeable amount of time.

Needs to be faster

zach fagerness

It's a really good app it just has a slow touch response time. Put that processing on a different thread yo.

Too ambitious

Sadly Im switching from wally next to splitwise. I had used wally for 4 years and loved how simple yet useful it was. Once wally next was released, I switched over but from my experience it is unusable. The app deletes inputs, bringing the expense to the current day without any data, it crashes often, the customer service is non-existent, it doesnt account for expenses made in foreign currencies in the stats.. and what really renders it unusable for me is that once you decide to export the data and bring it into excell the expenses that it had deleted are there, so there are a ton of duplicated ones. Some of the new features are awesome such as the account system and the different currencies, but as a whole the app has too many bugs and I wished they had kept it simpler and actually working.

The delete feature does not work

angel060812

I went to delete an expense I recorded and after trying about 3 times I came to the conclusion the feature is not working. So you can’t delete expenses on this app currently. You’re stuck with them if it was a mistake.

Not ready yet

balakc

It’s a fantastic app, but not ready for use yet. While the design is beautiful and _intuitive_ there are so many issues I am quite shocked how they even released it for public use. 1. The UI is extremely slow. 2. The UI crashes often! 3. Transactions do not synchronize properly. I added a transaction in the morning and when I went home to check my expenses for the day, the transaction was no longer there. 4. Does not work with multiple devices. 5. While there are several features in the app, each feature comes with its own boat load of bugs. “Copying” a transaction for instance is useless, since after copying the transaction (say a coffee purchase), if you change the transaction (perhaps because this time you bought coffee and cake from the same place) it goes back to the “copy” version!! I loved the app for the first hour since I was amazed how well it was done. But now I’m extremely disappointed that they only cared about the features and never bothered to do any quality control. Please do not install this app. It’s not worth even when free!

Terribly Bad!!

Damolat

This is the most ridiculous finance app ever. The User experience is so terrible, I wonder if any thought was put into building this app. It is such a chore just to enter my expenses I had to uninstall the app it was giving me a headache. Plus the whole thing is so disjointed and there’s things all over the place.

counter intuitive UI and no sync

youquzhiji

I miss the old wally where you just simply set up a daily budget instead of going with that stupid saving goal, not to mention its limited to only one account. and I haven't receive any bank activity synced for two days. total garbage.
