Great if it worked.

What good is a ticket app when it takes minutes to actually pull up your ticket to show the conductor. Seriously, I couldn’t care less about more payment options. Just let me access the tickets I’ve already purchased in a timely manner. The app is broken since the update.

The new version of the app takes a long time to load causing issues when I need to show my ticket. I went back to paper.

This version is slow and unfriendly. Half the time it won’t load. Never had trouble with the old version at all.

New Mobile app is very slow to startup. Reloaded app, restarted phone, reloggedin and took 18 mins to update my tickets. Start time of app is approx 3.5 mins. This is unacceptable for an iOS 13.3 app. Developers are paid by my transit fares so what do they they, develop a bad app. Parse between two fare catalogs, that’s why it’s slow? Nonsense. Symptomatic of VRE leadership - poor.

The newest update is awful. It takes way too long to load my stored ticket to show the conductor. Update it for faster load times where it matters. Probably have to go to paper tickets now.

This app will not even load. The last update was three weeks ago and they still haven’t fixed the problem. Back to buying paper tickets.


Downgrade from previous mediocre version

This app is terrible. The conductor and I spent 20 minutes trying to activate/validate a ticket after I bought it. We were constantly cycled into buying another ticket instead of validating the one just purchased. The interface on this is designed by martians for martians. It shows reduced fare on tickets that were purchased full fare. It won’t pull up details on some tickets in history but will on others. Switching to the app puts the blue “Buy” button on the middle of the screen. Then it eventually lowers. Tabs are all wrong. They should be for current ticket, ticket wallet (unused, used, and purchasing), trip tools, settings. This should be structured like the airline apps... tickets go into the Apple Wallet on the iPhone. Get with the Program!! Half the time the “app” pulls up a half baked, counter-intuitive web page in the view. Hey Script Kiddies! That’s not an app! App is garbage.

I just updated the new software and it is very slow. Sometimes i can’t even open the app. However, once open it is much easier to use.

Takes forever to load. VRE emphasizes that tickets should be validated prior to boarding and this new update makes the process very difficult.
