Dropped connections, express vpn is thy name. The iPhone app is buggy and horrible. I bought a whole year before I figured out how bad the app was. It drops connections constantly, to the point I don't even want to use it. Yes I've upgraded to the most recent version/bug fix. Repeatedly over months. It behaves like this on two phones. Terrible.

Only complaint is the cost. I don't expect it to be free but the price is a bit steep. I guess you have to pay for perfection but I've heard there are other very good VPNs out there at lower cost.

Unfortunately I live in China. And recently, since China’s enhanced block, this paid service has become difficult to use. I either could not connect or experience extreme slow speed when connected. And with their recent updates to improve services in China, there is no big improvements as far as I am concerned even following their instructions. Their performance has become even worse than some free services. Honestly I am very disappointed and will cancel my services with them. Alter Chinese users before buying.

ExpressVPN is easy to install, configure, and use. I researched competing VPN solutions and this one came out on top in terms of overall effectiveness and performance. A bit more expensive but well worth it.

Been in China for three weeks and it has been working on iPhones, iPads and one Kindle with no problems...so far.
Used to be good... now is the worst one!

It used to be a really good VPN. Unfortunately, if you are living in China or traveling constantly it does not work anymore and their customer service seems no to care. They have the same answer always and it disconnects constantly or simply does not load any page. Try a different VPN and save your money.

I moved from US to China last year, and brought ExpressVPN with me on day 1, and it has been my savior to stay in touch with the outside world. There are service challenges recently due to the actions taken by Chinese government, but ExpressVPN was responsive to address the issues. Please keep up the good work, this is good cause!
