Forced updates to worsen the app

GIVE IS BACK THE OLD ONE!!!

I loved the original version! Every time the force me to update they take away the best options and make the app worse. I’m forced to use it since I shop here, but come on stop changing the app. I updated last night and now the app is giving error messages.

Not User Friendly

MW-HDN

I’m not one to worry about discounts too much, but I use the app since we shop for my elderly aunt and uncle (they like to get deals). However, I saw a Digital Coupon sign for the Oreos for $2.99 each with a limit of 4. I decided to stock up for myself. I went into the app and clicked the Oreos. Turns out I clicked the $3.67 each option vs. the $2.99 limit of 4 option. I didn’t know until I left and looked at the receipt later. My problem is the app…why in the world would there be 2 options for the same product PLUS it should recognize that I buy them ALL THE TIME. It seems to have my tomatoes and bananas as “standards” but nothing else. It’s so confusing and I end up standing in the store every trip trying to find items and figure out what I’m doing. The old app was much easier. That’s my two cents (or in this case, my two dollars and seventy-two cents I lost out on).

Good for U

TJ HAPPY SHOPPER

I still love using the for u app. The new one is a little confusing. I have a new phone so I thought it would be easier. Can’t find my points earned. Also I don’t like that I loose all my points earned if I don’t get to 100. Can you add a reminder about that. Like there is a reminder to use the rewards.

Terrible app

Deals don't always connect to your account and the forced updates always seem to be required when you're in the store. DO BETTER Vons.

VERY CONFUSING USER INTERFACE

Sethland

Every update should make this app better. but this is not the case. With the most recent update, you can’t add items on the list anymore. It is also nearly impossible to add VONS For U items on the list. If you have the app on your mobile device and you’re signed in, it should be automatically added when you search for it. Search results yield absolutely NOTHING even though you typed the exact brand name items or it will give you a different price advertised on their weekly ad flyer. This a very frustrating app. One nice feature in the most recent update, the weekly ad page is now a scroll feature. This made easy for viewing purposes. So if one is interested in buying the item, one should simply tap on the item and add to one’s list to purchase. Convenient. But this not the case. Why does Vons make it difficult to shop and patronize their store?

Where are Just 4 U coupons?

SD Kids

The old app was far from perfect but even that was hard to follow but this version is not friendly. Need new QA team.

Horrible app needs to be fixed

Can’t even log in or put in my phone number, technical issues.

Just for U Deals Not Scanning

Momoringer

Just for U deals aren't scanning. Very frustrating, will update this review once they've resolved the technical issues.

To ex Vons Customer

You asked if you were wrong. I will tell you and for lack of better terminology You are not correct. As to what you might ask? Well the union strike was a while ago and a large percent of the employees voted for the strike. So that tells you something. If any employee oh lets say vons decides to slack of a bit union or not the supervisor will be on top of it because that is how they can build a case little by little. if anything else what happens when a strike ends and both sides come out a little butt hurt you can argue that everyone wins. employers of these employees and the common person should know that if you are a due paying union member or not the contract is the same for everyone. This is true about unions the worker who pays their dues will always get help from the union. The worker who pays no dues does not get paid less but they will have to deal with being threatened for moping checkout lane ten if they were asked to mop lane 9 and 11. So where is the fairness in that. Yet their seems to be union members who are lazy and give people the stink eye, But hey bro not everyone gets a trophy for losing oh wait we in in the age of (generation 3) which is me myself and I. So scratch that lets give trophy and most of all stop shopping at your favorite place because someone at the checkout was not the most gracious host. Come on dont give me that. I got sick at the tea cup ride so im going to boycott Disney. Then I will try to get the ride shut down. I remember the strike i saw alot of sabotage like Vons employees lighting bags of crap on fire and throwing it at the back door plus strike participants chasing down shoppers and begging them dont go in. Hey if it 9 at night and i need My Niece not to cry from a fever you best believe im getting chicken soup and kids Tylenol. All and all i wont ask am i right, but i will say here you go. Something to think about when you run out of supermarkets to go to. just because of a worker not a union worker a worker the union dont make anyone special they just protect all from the abuses of companies. Please bro dont tell me you hate unions or its a political thing. If it is you can take the crap to CNN Because union workers are at all the stores not just vons. Now i will carry on and get my grey pupon and crackers to go.

Clipped vs Redeem Rewards

Dude dudes tee

I absolutely hate this app. Takes longer to clip the coupons. The 100% all white colored screen is annoying to look at. Quite frequently I think I’m clipping a coupon but turns out I am redeeming rewards for crap I don’t want to spend reward points on. Bring back the old app. And delete the ordering for home delivery functionality. I don’t need stuff delivered. And allow us to remove coupons we don’t want to see…I don’t have a baby, a pet, or much need for the bombardment of alcohol coupons.
