Requires a US cell number!?!?

I live in Europe and use Vonage to connect with family and friends in the US. This would be a tremendous app... only one problem: it requires a US cell phone number. Could you make it possible to pair this app with foreign cell phone numbers?
Many issues with the app

I really liked this app when it first came out. But now for some reason it’s very annoying. Believe it or not, you have to actually call on the phone and “register” your cell phone EVERY SINGLE TIME you delete the app and redownload it. Otherwise the app does not work and your voicemail won’t even pick up. This was happening for a quite a while and I had no idea why. Nowhere on the app does it say that you have to call in person and register you cell phone each time! It should not be that difficult to use an app.

This app can only connect to cell phones from the United States, Canada, and England. If you live outside one of these countries, you cannot use this service.

They promised 4 Cents/minute to call my destination but charged $.34/minute once I signed up. Not only that, my cell phone company was charging me for the same calls that originated from Vonage! I complained but they didn’t do anything about it. In all I was charged hundreds of dollars for lousy service. I will rate them less than one start of there is such a rating! They are worse than scammers.

Vonage extension app was innovative and great. Now laggy and the connection is bad even with strong WiFi signal. App stops working randomly. It’s still a great feature but Vonage gave up on maintaining the app so it’s function is going down.

Long time user of this app. Sorta works most of the time. Today my doctor called me on the extensions app to discuss a condition I have never researched or discussed before. Ten minutes later I was getting ads in my desktop browser for treatment of this disease. The mic is off on my computer. We do not own Alexa etc nor do we use Siri. I called Vonage and asked if they record content of calls they day no. Then I read their privacy page. There is no privacy on this app.

We enjoy Vonage services for over 15years now and appreciate the reliability and flexibility as well as the extensions and international features. Recommended for everyone with family overseas
HUGE end button is not good

It’s too easy to unintentionally terminate a call by accidentally tapping the gigantic END button in the app. Please make it smaller and not so prominent.
Don’t download this app unless you want

Don’t download this app because I have experienced an unusual problem of the vonage telephone number not working upon using this app. For example, the phone line has been working perfectly but I was unable to place a phone call using that number and when I was using this phone to place a call to my home vonage phone line, it was recorded that the ‘phone number is temporarily unavailable’. “Or the number you are calling is temporary unavailable”. I’m having tough luck trying to report this problem to Vonage technician. The fax line and it’s telephone number remained unaffected by this problem.
