I'm very happy with Vonage for the most part. The one that I don't like or appreciate is the telemarketing phone calls that I get.

Love the connectability all over the world with the voiceover, but wish that the calls were consistent without the frequent stuttering and stammering and that people complain about listening to us. In this regard, WhatsApp and Viber seem to code with better accuracy in limited bandwidth

Vonage has to do a better job blocking telemarketers that get around the system. I get calls from this number and an unidentifiable name and I cannot stop it with Vonage functionality, not with the app nor with the gateway/web page.

Very good app. It is not a 5 star just because there are a few things to work on, like allowing to edit a number if you mistype, copy and paste a number, save a contact. Communication is clear however.

Speaker Option does not work

WiFi calling is bad even on a fast 50/10 Mbps line. The speaker option does not work!!

Perfect for Travel, Etc.

I use this (mainly) on Wi-Fi when I travel and it works great. This means I don't usually pay for out of country cell coverage. I wouldn't leave home without it. Also, where I live all cell carriers have trouble providing a great signal. So when I have to call countries like India, I just use the Extensions app.

I’ve used this app many times since started using vonage. It allows me to screen incoming calls which is very important in this day in age where there are many telemarketers and “uninvited” callers. I have made international calls through this app and the quality of sound is similar to when I am using my phone at home. Excellent innovation by vonage. Keep up the good work.

Far from being a friendly app

Not working on most hotel wifi networks. It requires Vonage specific settings on the firewall. This answer is verified with Vonage technical support ticket # 347-293-0770 Bad voice quality on cellular networks.
