I find the native watchos app to be really lame,and siri can’t do half of what Alexa can do in my home. Now with watchos5, my only request is to add a Siri shortcut so I can call Alexa just from raising my wrist.

With a house fully Alexa equipped this App completes the process of convenient and efficient on the move voice control. Yes, it may take a second or two to connect to Alexa, but it then executes my voice commands efficiently and effectively. Thanks for your addition to the simplification of completing routine tasks as I move about.
Love the app, but the latest update now makes it inoperable on the warch

To be clear, I love this app and that how actually provides a workaround to connect to Alexa when I’m not actually near my Echo devices. That said, the latest update within the past few days has made the watch app inoperable. While I can use the awake word such as “voice in a can” when lifting my arm up and speaking into the watch, the app constantly stays in a state of “Starting” on the watch screen and never goes to “Listening” mode. I have tried killing the app a few times on the watch and restarting in an attempt to troubleshoot The issue, but ,unfortunately,the same issue remains.

Series 3, takes 10-15 seconds to respond

Very disappointed. I’m willing to work with the developer but this performance never should have gotten out of unit testing. The first attempt never finished. The second and all after it take between 10-15 seconds to respond. Not the end of the world but it’d be faster to find my phone, open the Alexa app and issue the voice command.

I really thought this was going to be a cool app. We have been adding Alexa to everything. I had to spend $1.99 for the app only to find out it doesn’t work with my watch.

Have Watch 4 with LTE. App is great. Use it primarily to activate garage door with Insteon Garage Door kit through a simple command with Stringify.
