Great idea that fails in execution

twang1234

Really wanted this app to solve the problem of two tech giants not playing well with each other. Unfortunately it doesn't work consistently. When invoked on a series 6 watch it works 1/3 of the time. Several app freezes per week. Developer responded quickly and confirmed others are also reporting this. No solution offered. Maybe one day Apple and Amazon will integrate better. Until then this app isn’t the solution I was hoping for and a waste of $2.

Does what it says great support

The developer works hard. It does exactly what it says. If you need support, email him, he is there. It doesn’t get better than this.

Don’t waist your money or time

Guess what? I doesn’t work like you’ll want. You won’t be able to pickup you watch like Siri and get Alexa to work seamlessly. Don’t waist your time or money. Keep movin’ along.

Great App!

Got it set up and linked to my Amazon account. One step closer to being Tony Stark. Controlling my Amazon ecosystem with my Apple Watch is fantastic. Easily worth the $2, probably worth more than that. Good job to the developer.

Amazing

Terrific little app does just what I wanted, which is to let me control my smart home devices without my phone in hand. I had it set up and working less than two minutes after I downloaded the app, thanks to the developer’s very clear FAQ and excellent, quick video on how to use the shortcuts app to get “Alexa” listening when I raise my wrist and say her name. I have not been able to use the Shortcuts app before with any success, but that little video helped me figure out how to make some other shortcuts work that I hadn’t been able to do. I’m really impressed with the developer’s responsiveness (I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing) and clarity. Very happy to have this app!

Excellent for controlling devices

Hey people it works for controlling devices which costs less than buying an echo for every room of my house. Read the description to know what it does before you buy people! Happy to support this dev!

Works as promised

Mrs Lyds

I have a watch 7 and it works great! I added as a complication as well and it’s just great!

Amazing to say the least

Dear Damian. Let me tell you that your hard work is paying off. This is a great app that works perfectly. I just installed it and I can know open my garage door from my Apple Watch very easily and conveniently. I’ll keep playing with it and update this review in the future. You should be getting five stars from now on I think

Constantly loses connectivity

Phlynk

The app installed fine, but refuses to maintain connectivity more than a couple weeks at a time, meaning I’ll go to use it and it gets stuck at the message “connecting …”, and then doesn’t move on from there (doesn’t get to the microphone and “listening” display). It never connects again until I remove the app from my watch and then re-register it. But it will only work for a couple weeks and then I have to start all over again (remove, re-register using a new code). When the app actually works/connects it works well.

Who needs Alexa loop when you have this app?

Heywatchit

I recently got the just released Echo Loop device you wear on your finger. Even though I have an iPhone we use the Echo for our grocery shipping list and to control many smart devices in our house. The Loop would allow me to do this from anywhere. Except that the Loop is a terrible product. And horribly overpriced. When I discovered this app and added a complication to my Apple Watch I sent the Loop back to Amazon.
