I just want to adjust the volume

This app will only be for other content you do not want, and hide how to use the app as a remote. It is really annoying, when you just want to adjust the volume and can not find out how.

This app works 10% of the time. It never connects to my tv or is able to find it even when they are on the same network.The remote on the app is useless because you can’t turn on the TV if it’s not connected. I’ve tried resetting and restarting everything multiple times each time I go to watch tv. Usually about the 3rd or 4th time resetting it works...So frustrating. I love the TV itself but Vizio needs to fix their casting app because it should be such a great way to control the TV.

I agree with most everyone; this app needs a lot of work. I purchased a Crave 360 speaker which was a nightmare to setup with the app. Took me over 10 attempts to finally get it connected. Now that it’s connected, I’m finding most “cast” apps cannot find the speaker. Finds all my other Chromecast devices though. I’ve been using it solely as a Bluetooth speaker because of this. If Vizio wants to be a legitimate competitor in the “connected home” space (like Sonos) they need to get serious and invest in better talent to create decent products. If not, they will fail. This app does not help their cause.

This Smartcast is the worst thing on the planet impossible the cast something effectively to the TV, love Vizio but they just drop the ball biiiiig time with this. I'm sorry Vizio but it's over Samsung all the way from now on.

Never connects

I have 3 Vizio TVs and it always forgets 2 sometimes all 3. It says it tells me my Bluetooth is off when it's on. Perks are sleep timer controls and individual remote(when it works) for each tv.

When this app works it works really nice, but most of the time this app won’t connect with my tv. My tv says that it’s connected to my WiFi and then when I try to connect my phone to the tv (which it does automatically) it won’t connect, so I click on my tv button to manually connect and still won’t find the tv. This app is honestly useless if it never wants to connect to my tv. Make an update and fix this issue.

Honestly been using this app since I bought my tv it’s gone through a huge update (so did my tv) and I’ve never had a single issue with it now or before the update.

I thought I was the only one experiencing navigation issues until i read a few reviews. The remote for the Tv should have came with AT LEAST a menu button and navigation arrows but that’s the past. The touch screen portion of the app barely works at all. After sliding my finger across the screen at least 5 times it finally moves almost where i want it to. It needs better stability. We would all greatly appreciate it.

My TV comes up on the app and I can adjust the volume so I know it’s connected and working, but the input button is greyed out.

I have a brand new Vizio smart tv and it doesn’t connect to it. This app should connect to all vizio smart TVs (not just “Smartcast”). Instead it shows Vizio’s marketing technique is quite shady.
