I downloaded the App upgrade today. Now I’ve spent the last 90 minutes trying to reconnect my smartphone to the TV to view Youtube. I tried everything and it even told me that the phone and tv are indifferent networks. WRONG! Why did you ruin a good thing. And yes I watched the setup video!

Wouldn’t connect to my network when at least 10 other devices currently connect easily without a problem. Tried it about 5 times.

The VCast feature would be great if the app worked. It disconnects from my WiFi and doesn’t allow me to reconnect. Also, the app doesn’t function well.

Doesn’t connect anymore, regardless of which method I try. Even when it worked it was ridiculously overcomplicated. And what is up with no “previous channel” feature.

I know that I am on a learning curve, but I have to ask what this software is for; why not use the Vizio remote in the first place? Also, when I use this application, there is a difference in what smartcast applications that I see on the iPhone and what I see on the tv when using the remote. For example Prime Video smartcast app is missing on the iPhone. Is this a software error, or the result of what Apple will let one do with applications that are related to amazon?
