Not sure what everyone is crying about!

As the title says, I have no complaints whatsoever. I opted for a one year up front paid plan. I chose a plan, there were no hidden fees, prepaid for an entire year, got a way better deal than du or etisalat at the time, and have had zero issues with anything but the app(few hiccups, always resolved very quick by using facebook messenger) I use their international minutes to call all over and have had no issues with getting disconnected or hearing strange dial tones in the back round like I did with Du(quite frequently I might add) That being said, I just upgraded my plan for another 7 months and STILL saved more money than I had with other carriers in past. I am a believer now and will be having my wife switch to Virgin soon also! Thanks again Virgin UAE!


App is mostly intuitive, and has all the features

Really well built app. All information is easily accessible, all the features I needed were accessible through the app (eSim transition, account cancellation etc.) As for the plan, I used it for travel, and it was comparatively affordable way to get some cellular data while in UAE.

I am so glad I choose Virgin early plan, no need to worries about anything, and never have issue with internet !!! Better than Etisalat or DU for sure !

A zillion times better than etisalat and du. You choose the plan that suits you. you can boost anytime it’s so easy without you calling customer service. Chat option makes it easy to leave any question and you’ll be notified when it’s sorted. I’m never switching my service provider


Passport update ??

Won’t scan my passport. Keep uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing. Total waste of time


App with Alzheimer's on iOS & even worse customer support

Absolutely the most frustrating app on my ? XR Temperamental & keeps forgetting my user name and password every other week at random. I didn't want to shame them in public do DM'd on twitter & their support talks to me like I'm an imbecile dimwit. I clearly told them I have the latest version, I've updated and reset my password 5 times and they helpfully ask me again and again to update up and reset my password. ???


Updating identification does not work

When going to update passport ID after it has expired, the scanner in the app does not work. I contacted the help desk in the app via chat and was told to use an android device to authenticate ID. Unfortunately that is not an option and defeats the purpose of having the app on iOS if I have to use android just for a basic function. Since I cannot use my own phone to activate the SIM card for it and verify my account I will not be using Virgin and switching to another provider. Frustrating to be given no help and just told to use another device.


Annoying app

It really makes you crazy, asking the same questions, about the getting a number or another one, even if I’m not interested at all. And there’s no more option buttons. And especially when I’m trying to boost the Internet. What other options I can use rather than the app. Useless app...


Customer service is a joke

I signed up with Virgin Mobile back in August, and I got free credit for signing up. After the first month, my card was charged without my authorization, although they said this was to renew my plan it wasn't because I had more than enough credit to renew it for the next two months without recharging. Anyway, after a few days, they refunded the amount they charged back to my card, which surprised me and at the same time made me happy because I didn’t think they would ever refund me. Overall, my experience with this provider have been mixed, there were a few issues, but they both get fixed in a timely manner. I would recommend this provider to people because their prices are excellent, and none of the other providers can compare to them. They also have outstanding customer support.
