App By Rat and Mouse

M Emmons

Where do I start? I didn’t. This App is pure rubbish.

App used to work

Walker556

When I used the app last year it worked great. I had to set out traps this week, and when I went to do ANYTHING on the app all I get is “network error occurred”. Couldn’t click on Settings. I couldn’t log out! I even re-installed the app, same exact thing, except this time it wouldn’t let me log in. Please figure out these bugs!!

DON’T FOOL YOURSELF!!! I Ordered two traps, both not work and DEFECTED

DutchmanFlorida

I purchased 2 traps for my attic so it can give me a signal when too go up in my attic to empty them, I installed brand new batteries in both units, now 1 unit did not go on the V light when I pressed the on button, i never caught any rat from them during a two week period, also to mention both traps after activating them on the app, if you take out the batteries they still show you that they have 100% battery life and they are working which is BS.....,,,,, these traps are a gimmic and don’t work,,,, DON’T FOOL YOURSELF WITH THIS BRAND VICTIR SMART RAT TRAPS. THEY ARE NOT WORKING AND DOING THEY THEY SAY THEY SHOULD BE DOING.

So far very good

Easy setup, today is day 1, no issues so far. I will update at a later date. Update: 2 hours later it caught a mouse in the basement and alerted me, was dead. No idea why someone would say this app or product wasn’t great. 100% a new customer!!!

Work in Progress

The trap works, though the App is not perfect. Having a “History” in the App that reflects the kill effectiveness is nice, however, having a “last activity” status that’s not also reflected in the history is not as helpful.

Hardware quality is uneven. Software has bugs.

Purchased 4. One device arrived DOA. One device drained through the first set of batteries in about a week, made a successful kill on the next set of batteries a couple days later, but would no longer function after that (and it was the closest of all of them to the router). The other two are each at about 80% on the original batteries after about 3 months but have yet to see any activity. The app has a bug where it will incorrectly report that it has not connected to the device in >24 hours, based on reading the local time on the phone rather than the device and the network it’s connected to, which is a problem if you travel ahead to a new time zone. Once that error occurs, it keeps on repeating even as you return to the home time zone, resulting in several false alarm notifications per day.

Is it on?

Seriously? Could not add one blinking diode to show on/off status? Also how would you know if it is still connected to my Wi-Fi, out of range or accidentally been turned off?

Great idea! Terrible performance.

I ran out and bought eight of these traps to deal with a rat issue inside a commercial building. Most were being placed in the ceilings. The alert feature was the selling point. However, the app seldom works. Each time I try to connect I get network failure errors. I assume they don’t have the infrastructure in place to handle the traffic. I haven’t been able to get the last trap connected to their system because the app will not connect. Great concept. Bad planning.

This is a great product

This rat trap works! Caught four rats in just one week. Always alerts only when it has a rat, iPhone App works great and has a good easy to use interface.

Constantly sending me alerts after one kill

tofutofutofu

The trap works well but I had to shut off the alert for kills because it keeps going off. This is really annoying because this effectively makes the app useless. I’ve killed a single mouse and the app thinks the trap has killed 200. Ridiculous.
