You will never get your money when they say you will. If it says by the 19th. You won’t get it until the end of the month. You’ll just get the run around with no real help from Venmo. You can’t dispute it. It’s a scam!!!!!!
New update has too many bugs!

Please fix the bugs this new update brought. It is slow, requesting money for multiply people only works sometimes, and it’s not user friendly. Really hard to find stuff

My account was frozen before I ever tried to use it. Support was no help, they wouldn’t tell me why it was frozen and wanted me to give them more personal information than was required to sign up for an account. Bottom line is I was ever able to access my account so I’m deleting it. There are better apps out there.

If you are scammed and you send payment they will not back you up! Even if you do what they request and get a police report. And I believe the scammers know this. That’s why they are requesting you to send it to there fake account like a friend so you can’t charge it back! Or reverse the payment no matter how much proof you have!! This policy needs to be changed for the consumer, these people are very good. Especially with bitcoin currency. I will not use Venmo again!

A decent money transfer app that has recently ensured secure login and use is standard to a good experience, Venmo has an added benefit in iMessage integration. The app is easy to use, their debit card is handy if you are a frequent user and prefer for certain kinds of expenses to go through one account but the place prefers debit cards to Apple Pay, Venmo has done much to ensure they're flexible. Recently they've patched the login process to ensure FaceID continues to work and I have tried it repeatedly - no issues thus far, the behavior seems good. If I had a complaint about the service I'd say it would be the social aspect, but those settings are easily managed and they aren't a concern overall. The ability to quickly transfer it to other accounts is crucial and they don't dawdle. I've not spent the extra to get it instantly as I don't need mine as quickly but I normally see it in a day if I'm moving things back to my bank. All-in-all, I recommend getting it. (This review has been edited, previously I had a poor rating due to what I considered serious issues that have been resolved completely)
