Improvements needed

Extremely difficult to use

The following improvements are needed to usps and their apps. 1. Real time instant tracking of all recipients packages. 2. Ability to change a destination address in mid-transit in real time. 3. Require all personnel to deliver all mail and packages to all valid US addresses regardless of how the addresses are designed or the individual carriers preferences, or their supervisors or the supervisors managers directives. 4. Allow all senders and recipients to have full control over their packages and mail in real time instantly. 5. Require the carriers to monitor their usps mail and package scanners for any communication from senders and receivers of mail or/and packages to immediately in real time indicate whether they want or authorized the sending or receiving of said mail or packages.

No Nicknames anymore

BlackWidowWeb

It was a great app, now not so much. You used to be able to add a nickname so you knew what was arriving. Now you can see the tracking number in the app but when you click you get directed to the USPS website and can’t add a nickname. I have RFD delivery and a very long driveway. I had two items coming, one was letter sized and the other a package. When I got the text that my item was delivered in the mailbox I figured it was the letter so I didn’t head out because it was snowing. It was the package :(

New Year, New Issues with (Dis)informed Delivery

Mark in Wi

Like many other users noted, this app used to work well. Unfortunately, with a somewhat recent deployment, they’ve managed to wreck Informed Delivery’s package information. I should be seeing around 20 items listed as inbound packages, yet the app shows me ‘You currently have no scheduled deliveries’…I’ve removed the app completely from my device, re-downloaded it from the app store (as their support staff suggested as a last ditch effort), so I am back to only truly knowing when I have inbound packages from eBay’s notifications that an item is going to be arriving later today. It’s pretty bad when other, external companies are able to know how to extract the data from USPS’ database through APIs, yet USPS’ own developers cannot even find and accurately release their own data inside one of their own products/apps! At this point, it’s a worthless option to even have on the app until they find and resolve this issue…It’s counterintuitive to have an application that’s supposed to be more friendly than the full site, yet you always need to navigate away from the app to their full site version if you want to track incoming packages using their tracking numbers you were provided from another company. Do better.

The service is good however I’m not getting all my mail pictured . I’m not sure why unless the mailman is getting reckless again . I’m constantly having residents putting mail at my door coz he put it in the wrong mailbox and then other times I don’t get it at all

The newest update is frustrating

aldnehwoso

I have been using this app for a while now. It has been great to track packages and take care of all postal needs right from the app. However, whatever the latest update was created a frustrating block. I can no longer see the progress of my packages directly from the app, or rename them ( from tracking code to whatever the item or store is). So now im having to remember tracking codes AND when you click on it it takes you completely out of the app into safari where you have to search the tracking history to get any updates. What’s the point of even having the app at this point??? I might as well delete it and google my tracking number from the start to get updates. Really disappointed with this latest change…
