$60 for a ride that is always $15 this is so abusive. My daughter is a college student and can not afford that. It’s nice outside, not snowing or raining. More than 10 minutes to get a ride

Uber has taken advantage of the fact that they get to push notification (for rides, which is appropriate) but used it to advertise for their services which should not be a push notification given most of my setting on my phone. This needs to be fixed, becusse I only want to be notified when my car is close or food is near - I don’t need a Lock Screen notification for $0 delivery fee from a restaurant I haven’t eaten at.

This app auto charged me for this dumb subscription without notifying me. Thank god there are other competitors to choose from now on. Enjoy your $10.

Revised app until unusable

My 93-year-old father has used this app to arrange his transportation for the past five years. The developers have continued to add on needless additional options to the point where it is no longer usable for him. It’s too complicated. All he wants to see is a button to request a ride. He does not want to see all of the other buttons promoting things like Uber Eats and other services that might be helpful to others, but not to him. You’ve made the app so complicated that he has deleted it from his phone and he’s only using Lyft now. The Lyft app is simpler for him to navigate. Perhaps in the Settings you could put some radio buttons for the user to choose which of the many Uber services they want to see on the front of the app. That way my father could turn them all off except for Ride.

Yeah the drivers are flakey. They will pick up your trip while still in the shower, making a 15 minute wait into an hour wait. Uber then charges you at a discounted price. This has happened to me multiple times. Don’t use uber for : daily transportation, to work, or any scheduled appointments. Uber is good only for getting drunk people home. Another problem, the app offers no solutions in the app. No problem reporting. No bug reporting. No driver reporting. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM: UBER CHARGES SOMETIMES FOR CANCELLED RIDES. Always check your bank statement for cancelled rides. In summary, uber is a business monster that cares only about its fees. Good luck.

Can’t get a ride. Want to update my credit card number so I can use the service in the future. In desperation, I had to use a taxi.

They steal your money

They steal your money I was charged for three rides on 12/31/21 but they didn’t go through but the money was taking out I talked to Customer service same day now they say I can’t get my money back.

Honestly such a stupid app and thing. Like first, you’re gonna make people pay an arm and a leg just to travel a couple miles. Then you give people the option to schedule ahead. But, drivers are never on time, probably because of the way the app sends out the rides to their drivers. If someone has requested a specific time frame, uber should have the driver pick up in that time frame otherwise what’s the point of having the schedule ahead. Like it’s actually ridiculous making people late for work, and you can’t even cancel unless you wanna pay a fee on top of the $20 you already spent for like a 10 minute ride….
