Trip.com: Book Flights, Hotels Reviews

I’ve been using this app for two years now and flights are frequently cancelled. Trip fails to take responsibility for this. Especially if you have booked hotels through them. They simply say it isn’t their fault and the customer who trusted them ends up losing out and money. I’ve lost in on thousands of dollars using this horrible app.

They’ve owed me money for 6 months now and I’m having to fight tooth and nail for it. And since they’re based in China, staff in other offices around the globe have no real power or ability to get anything done, especially during Chinese holidays, which are always a week long! Yet if I wanted to book a ticket (never again!), they’d be readily equipped to take my payment. But a refund takes a lifetime. Beware-

Personally, i would recommend C trip for everyone if we had to rank all the apps it comes in 2nd place right after wechat, and right before Facebook that’s how much I love C Trip.. what I love the most is that anyone from anywhere can have access to it and they don’t need to pass through travel agencies.. how awesome is that.. Sincerely, i love C Trip..

Add more country currency price viewing

Its a great app and easy to use, but Can you guys make the currency viewing of the price in Kuwaiti Dinar ? Your country currencies are so limited. Please make some more options because you got lots of users here who are using the app but “converting” at the same time to the money currency were using here in Kuwait. Thank you!

No flight cancellation policies, 24/7 customer service is a robot

I booked a ticket a while ago and the ticket was not going to be emitted for a very long time. My trip plans have changed and I decided to cancel the ticket. However, I couldn’t see any cancellation policies on flights on the website, so I had no idea of finding out whether my ticket could be cancelled or if I would get a refund. I then tried calling the customer service that was supposed to be 24/7. I was on the line for 30min with the automated voice saying “sorry, all of our representatives are busy right now”. Seriously, if your representatives are really all busy, who takes 30 minutes to deal with a customer, unless you are talking to your grandma? Then again, if dealing with customer service takes this much time, it also indicates that there is some serious structural problems within Trip.com. Horrible experience. On top of that, one time they changed my flight information to a worse flight that was cheaper and did not refund me for the difference.

My flight got cancelled and I only got $1.00 dollar refund!!! I tried to call both numbers in their page and nobody could speak English, only Chinese. DO NOT BOOK YOUR FLIGHT HERE!!!
