Decent App but too many inconsistencies to justify a subscription

I definitely like the layout of the app. it’s far better than the official Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit app. However, many times the Transit app shows “tracked” GPS arrival times, but then the GPS icon disappears and the bus never shows up. Transit app developers say that it’s out of their reach because they get the GPS tracking from the agency, but when i go to the official agency app, i don’t see the bus even on their own GPS tracker map. Also, there are many times i see GPS tracked buses on the agency app but not the transit app and vice versa. Overall, I have to go to three different apps to get a somewhat accurate time table. I toggle through the transit app and the official agency app to see if the times are consistent, then because of the national driver shortage, i go to the agency twitter page to see if my route has been cancelled for the time slot, because the transit app won’t alert you of any bus cancellations. Because of all this, i can’t justify paying for this app. I would pay if the app was more accurate.

Not the most reliable

Transit is a great app in a lot of ways especially when they give you reminders for when to get off. But the way they update the arrival times is a hit or miss. And it’s been more of a miss lately. Now, the bus stop is right in front of my building so it takes me like 5-10 seconds to get out there. But there have been too many times where the bus says 3 min away, and I walk out to the bus just leaving the stop. Then after missing the bus, it wants to speed up to the correct time. I’ve learned not to completely trust the arrival times and leave a little bit earlier. The trouble with that is it could be one of those times where the bus doesn’t show up, and I have to wait 20 minutes for the next one. When it's good, it's good, and when it's bad, then it's pretty irritating, but I can't find an app that is better than this.

Perfect Timing

MaurucioMartinez;)

Been using the app lately, DC Metro , buses and MARC trains all times and schedules accurate, very satisfied.

Not always 100% accurate but that’s expected.

I’d say 75-80% of the time it’s accurate for me. Sometimes it’s wrong of course, so it’s left me waiting at the bus stop for a long while before. Thankfully I was able to call My bus line pretty easily and they let me know when the next bus would be coming.

Not accurate at all

Nessa0588

This app is often inaccurate with real-time bus times. Today, the app shows a bus in 8 minutes, when I got to the stop, the stops real-time schedule said 14 minutes. I noticed that time after I had already been waiting at the stop for a few minutes

Bare minimum

rdude44

The app does the bare minimum of showing you where routes and stops are. Do not trust the pick up times it gives you or you’ll be calling a lot of Uber’s.

Fantastic app

I love this app! I use it when I’m out of town and at home. It lets me know how to get from A to B on various modes of transportation no matter where I am or where I am going!

Up to the minute

AmarimbaC

Appreciate that this app gives up to the minute precise bus arrivals. It’s more convenient to leave for my destination at a particular time, than to wait on the bus for 20mins. Much easier to navigate than the MTA app.

Deez FRICKIN app is fire! One time i downloaded this app because my mother needed help with transit, then i saw i could apply for royale for free for a year in par with a request. I won. Holy cow for something that would cost maybe 35 to 100$ for free! These people are super generous i have my whole hearted respects for this app. Cheers! The boredscripter.
