Best transit app ever

igormartire

I've tried more than 10 apps like this, but this one is by far the best one.

Okayish

0 mins later

Good app for getting the bus stop and end up waiting the longest 0 mins of your life only to realize bus comes 10 mins later

Best transit app ever!

Shopper Pete

Upholds the high standard of intuitive design that is a hallmark of the Apple technosphere. Most relevant data is displayed automatically. Super easy to drill down for more detail. I love the option to filter out transit modes you don't need to see-I only ride the train, so don't care for the clutter of bus and Uber data. The widget is perfect! I don't know how, but it always seems to even know whether I want to go east or west whenever I open the app.

Unsure

Gtv999

I'm not sure if it's the NYC MTA or this app, but the times are never reliable and always change minutes before a train. If there are train delays, the app never notifies me or doesn't update at all. I work late at night when most delays occur, and it would help to know when I can or cannot take a train, especially if I'm on my way to work.

Really should be the designated commuter traveling app! *MUST GET*

I live in NJ so commuting back and forth to the city -or even going somewhere in Jersey, this really helps notifying me when the bus is coming, if its gonna be late, a better route, everything. I literally don't feel i could ever get lost! Love this app and love all the hard work put into it. They really thought of every detail.

This app is acurate.

My only complaint with this app is that it is too good. I always think that the bus is gonna be later than it says so I miss the bus every day. If they could fix that I would change the review to five stars.

Great in NYC

Vattify

Honestly I'm only writing a review because of how funny the update log was "Please rate five stars because I'm trying to get a tan" (Because the sun is a star) Anyway, it's pretty accurate with bus location for NYC and I've had no problems that I can recall with it.

Must-Have App

Svensk Fisk

It takes some getting used to, going from the usual transit apps and mobile sites, and I almost deleted it until I realized the reason this app is different is because it's actually doing the work for you. Instead of trying to figure out timetables and transfers, Transit gives you an easy to understand timeline to see what's faster, sooner, easier, or if walking is just as fast. Pull up the route and it gives you a map of the route and all the stops along the way, along with your location therein. There are small things that I could give it 4 stars for, but I just discovered the Today view widget and thought, "That's awesome, I really oughta rate this app."

Unreliable

D'Voge

At first this was a great app, but over the last several weeks it's been noticeably unreliable. Utilizing schedules for buses have not been in real time, which is the purpose of my using them. Subway schedules seem only slightly more reliable.

This app is really awesome, it automatically determines the closes stop of the bus you choose and then tells you how many minutes it will arrive. You can check the map and see exactly where the bus is. No more waiting or rushing to the bus stop as you can monitor the bus location by the second. Most useful app for the need that exists. Thanks to the makers of it.
