Very poor accuracy and consistency

I've had the product for about three months now and when I need to live view my pet yeah Chrissy is about 400 feet many times I'll be walking in the wrong direction following the app try to find my cat. As well as the inconsistency in the passive mode for tracking the cat. I would not recommend this product pass the novelty.

It honestly does give me a peace of mind. I have a husky and Huskies tend to escape a lot." [my dog is on if them]. That's why I purchased this, to give me peace of mind. What I really am not liking is the fact that I pay for premium service but the premium features don't even work! I try to use the "Device Sharing" feature and the app crashes. every. single. time. I have yet to use this so called premium feature. Going to Mexico in 2 days, lets see if I can still use it.

Need to have better battery life

The battery last only a few days but then takes forever to charge. Also, it would be great to know the % of battery available and also to get notifications when the battery is low

Have used Tractive on 50 pound dog several times a day for about a month in heavily wooded area of Vermont with sporadic cell signal. The device always works and seems accurate to within 10 ft or so. The LED light is small but easily visible from about 100 yards in a field at night. It is especially helpful in the woods at night. My dog swims with it many times, so it is waterproof as advertised. Overall, an easy to use but very capable piece of equipment that brings great peace of mind to those with wandering pups.

So far so good, have had our tracker for a few days and it is accurate and fairly timely for the most part. Occasionally has had no connectivity but those instances have been fairly short and app seems responsive and useful.

This has added quality to my life! I used to stress so much about the direction in which my dog ran off and now I simply activate live tracking and know instantly! We live in the middle of 100 wooded acres and haven't had a lot of trouble connecting to GPS. So far it only wouldn't connect one time

Our 17 yr old dog has hearing issues and is getting Alzheimer's she has wandered off on multiple occasions. Now I can relax and know where she is. My only issue is battery life.

Love this gps device. It lets you out a safe zone around your home and if your pet ever gets out of the safe zone the app will notify you. I feel so much better going to work and knowing my pup is in the zone.

We bought Tractive to keep track of a Corgi puppy in our rural/forest setting where cell service is typically sketchy. To our delight, and surprise, IT WORKS GREAT! The puppy can run loose and explore while we are working outside and then with a quick look at the iPhone app, we can locate her. Both the puppy and us are very happy.
