How is one supposed to collaborate and find your lost dog if the gps code is not displayed in the app screen itself to share with another user when your dog actually goes missing?

I have tried POD and WHISTLE, however, TRACTIVE GPS works far superior! It is much faster, more affordable and hardly any delays! I use it for both my dog and cats. We don't have a fenced property because we are on the beach, so having this trackers that are water proof is fantastic! I had to exchange WHISTLE 5 times and the POD 2 times! So far so good with TRACTIVE!

I purchased this to keep track of my deaf beagle. It comes in handy when he is out sniffing stuff at night. It is given me peace of mind on more than one occasion.

Network connection is weak, when I need it most...

I did so much research that led me to this product. I like that it's waterproof. My girl Pitbull is the sweetest thing ever but she looks fierce, and when she runs off I just fear she will be killed because she just runs towards everybody and anybody to say hello, not realizing many people see her and think she eats babies for breakfast. She has run off in the woods nearby and as a flower child she will just go where the flowers smell good and hears children's laughter. So far, on three occasions the GPS live tracking would just NOT work. I have had it work fine in two of those three locations prior, so I know it's not that that location lacks connection. This has got me and my husband (and a whole crew of her aunties) unnerved. You click the 'live' icon and it just keeps thinking and thinking... then just stops. I see that if you subscribe to 'premium' then you get even better and stronger network access. Those who really depend on love gps tracking, and love it, are you either a premium subscriber or living where network is good or both. I live in urban SF area and the canyons nearby can be a black hole for only super-weak connection. If it means I have to be premium subscriber to get the feature I want, I wish I would have known beforehand. It seems that basic subscription keeps your network access kind of very minimal. Like worse than my T Mobile cell phone connection!!! Which is pretty low... I'll continue using it because it has only been about six months, and I really like how sturdy it is, but I appreciate any improvement re: live tracking OR if this is a marketing it to lure basic subscribers to go premium then I have to say I may fall prey but not happily.

We tried RF and other solutions. They were flaky or not giving us the distance we needed. Our cat loves to roam and sometimes actually pretty far. Tractive accurately gives me his location so I can find him or know if he is coming closer. It's reliable and accurate and battery easily holds for the entire day. At night we charge it. The app is easy to use and gives you what you need to make sure your furry one comes home safe. Thanks for creating such a wonderful product!
