I left a review stating that you need to make an option to be able to draw out the safe zone with your finger instead of using a circle or rectangle. This is the response I get. "Dear Customer, Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that the safe zone chosen was perfect for your property. Enjoy our app and have a great day, Sara, Tractive Customer Happiness Manager" The safe zone is NOT perfect for my property. Lowered my rating from 3 stars to one
Not good for rural areas

Our dog shows up every few days when we take her to town. Typically shows no activity for days at a time. Really wouldn’t help if she ran away near our house. Our Garmin has no problem in this area. Would think this would be similar.

The app currently says my dog is located behind a church about 5 miles from my house. She is sitting in our kitchen. This is not the first time something like this has happened. If our dogs were ever lost, we have no confidence that this product would show their actual location or in a timely basis to find them. That is the whole purpose of your product! We will be looking at alternatives.

What an excellent Tractive tracker. My escape hound who has no regard for a virtual fence escapes occasionally. This tracker is worth the piece of mind it gives us when we are tracking her down. Usually she has treed a cat at a neighborhood house. For the cost per month it is worth every piece of mind.

I use this to track my cat and it helps me SO MUCH. She was not returning for days at a time and I worried that she was at someone else’s house. After checking the tracker, I can go find her in the neighborhood, before the battery runs out. The battery lasts for two days. I like the satellite feature, so I can see the exact place she is at. I like seeing her history, and also that there is AR, a heat sensor, and the flashing light helps if it is dark and I can’t find her. I post screen caps to my Facebook friends so they can see how many miles my cat traveled and we all giggle about it. I would like for there to be a collar for cats, because the tracker can fall off and then I go and retrieve it. The app works great. I love it and check it all day. I would post photos, but I can’t do that in this review. I like that I can see how much battery is left from the app, so I know to look for her and charge it again.
Excellent app! Small bug though

I got this app because my dog got lost and we found her 6 hours later and then I installed it and used the demo mode. It must be outdated because I put her in my room and left and it is telling me she left the virtual fence and was in the yard we found her in. It may be behind on time but I hope this gets fixed.

Able to see exactly where the dogs are when they leave. Saves a lot of time because I know where to go to look. We live in the country and they can disappear in in a minute. Used it twice in the first two days. Wish I could set a tone alert when they leave the fence as they can cover a lot of ground before I see the notice. We will see how well the collar clips hold up. Have to remove from collar to charge. So far it functions quite well.
Doesn’t work as it claims

If I could give it a negative star I would Bought it to track my dog who keeps escaping into the neighbors trashy yard. Claims it doesn’t require a monthly fee, but you have to sign up for an annual fee before you can use it. Also always has a slight delay, not accurate. Doesn’t work through structures- house, barn, etc Cannot find a phone number, only troubleshooting tips. I hate this device, but have no way of getting any money back from it and no way of getting the remainder of my ‘annual fee’ back. (~10 months worth!!)
