useless!!!

you need to read like 500 pages of policies and agreement everytime you use the app! DO NOT GET IT! update should make it better biit it made it worse! waste of time using this app!


Cannot login

Simply put, the app does not even allow me to login. The login button is grey and only allows me to copy and paste the words “login”.

Literally before this newest update this app was GARBAGE. And was horrible to use (I had to sign the agreement every time I opened the app which was super annoying and it was just overall underwhelming). Now it has a fresh modern look, can use Face ID (thank god) and I can happily pay my bills without scrolling through five hundred pages of stuff I’ve already agreed to a thousand times. If I have any issues with it I’ll update this review but first impressions are a MASSIVE step forward from what I’ve been dealing with for the past year. Thank you for updating!


Login Not working

After scrolling through 500 pages of terms and conditions, when I hit continue , the app keeps staying in same page. I get sent an email for every time I hit a continue button. But never able to get past the continue button. Worst app developers from Toyota. Sad that a big company like Toyota is not able to have even a half decent app.


Again, worse than previous app

When companies launch a new version of app, it generally a better version with less issues. When toyota launch a new version, they launch a worse app with more issues. Is it really that hard to make sure your new app remember credentials that i was using on your old app??


How hard is it to add a principal reduction option

How difficult is it to add a field that allows you to pay extra and reduce the principal balance so you can payoff the loan quicker? I had to call to make a principal reduction and that became a whole issue with customer service. The principal reduction didn’t happen correctly and it took a few days to reflect!!!


Couldn’t sign in??

Changed my password thinking that was the problem but it wasn’t. Logged in on the website and it worked just fine. This app is broken.


Touch ID seriously?

It’s 2019 almost 2020. The iPhone X has been out for over two years now and this app still runs as if it’s on an iPhone 7. Update the app to use the whole screen, add Face ID, and stop making me agree to the same long contract every time I log in. This is the only app on my phone that’s still set up this way come on Toyota.

I’m so happy with my recent Toyota purchase. However, not so happy with this app. These days many people, including myself, do everything on there phones. The days of mailing in checks to pay any kind of bill are over, or at least close to it. Would be nice to see the developers at Toyota put a little more time into this app. Not user friendly at all, not very informative, I can’t set up auto pay. It would appear I have to go on the app to manually make payments. Every single other bill I have automatically withdraws whatever they need from my account, along with giving me a reminder a few days before. I think Toyota should follow suit... other than that a few minor glitches need ironing out, some text doesn’t disappear when signing up for the app. I was writing my name over words that were already there. Slow to respond, even though I’m on my 5g WiFi with full bars. It’s a good thing whoever designed this app doesn’t design your cars, which are great btw.

Like many of the others reviews I’ve read, the first month didn’t take my payment and had I not been curious I would have been screwed and missed my first payment. Also, it doesn’t give an option to pay towards principle. It just reads that’s if you pay extra it will go towards principle AND toward the next payment. I want it all to go towards paying the principle. Why don’t they have this feature?
