Horrible Navigation system

Landsdoodle

I’ve been so disappointed with the Nav that I started a FB page “Toyota’s Scout GPS is Horrible”, please check it out! It’s unbelievable that Toyota would put this junk on the market. They should recall these units and fix them, I just bought a new 2018 Camry and I’m pulling my hair out to get the GPS to work. It’s really not right!

Entune is a Complete Failure

The Entune system in my 2015 Tacoma was decent when I first got the truck in 2015. That was until updates started coming and now the head unit reboots itself every 15 to 20 minutes. I’ve faithfully updated this app in hopes that an actual fix would come through to keep the unit from crashing and rebooting. No such luck. I wish I had never installed this app and never updated my head unit. I tweeted Toyota support for assistance and they simply said take my truck to a dealer to have it serviced. I just want the original firmware that worked back. I don’t want to go to a dealer to have a bunch of sales people trying to hump my leg and try to talk me into buying a new car. Toyota broke my head unit remotely in my driveway, they can come to my driveway to fix it.

Wow... disappointed is an understatement.

I’m a huge Toyota fan, but this software is the worst software I’ve used. I don’t even know what the purpose of the app is. Toyota missed the mark here. Maybe they should have professional software developers build this “de-tuned” app...

don’t waste your time

FreakyMutant

this app is frustrating...functionality is flaky...every session requires user id + password, no face recognition...most of the time, it doesn’t work at all.

needs update

i have a car purchased in 2017, this app looks like it hasn’t been updated since 2010, it’s completely useless and crashes all the time. I would give it 0 stars if i could

If their cars were the same quality they never would have survived

Love Toyota hate this brain dead software Never sign you out unless you asked them to Apple map should integrate with navigation app find it on Apple google etc and it should feed the address to the navigation system Once destination selected no you’re sure, you’re really sure? You really want to go there? How about displaying incoming text messages? One big button that ends your trip when you’re done Let the phone control your music drop the external app buttons

Do you want to connect to entune? Lol

Don’t waste your time downloading app, it doesn’t stay logged in. Basically have to put in your password and email every other time to use it. Billion dollar company can’t even put out a decent app to link up to the car. How embarrassing.

Remote weather

I bought the advanced prime, but I can’t figure out where the remote weather button is. Terrible waist of time.

Come on now

I rarely review apps but this app is pathetic. I have to log on to this stupid app pretty much every time it connects to my 2017 highlander. Also, it really doesn't do anything that I can see is different than what my 5 year old Nissan can do without an app. This needs some serious improvement. I will probably delete the app due to it asking me to log on every time I start my car. Heck it doesn't even remember my sign on or password and I have to enter it each time. Pathetic to say the least. Update. I had been 3 more months, it’s now the 11/2017, and i have had multiple updates but I still have to log in to it several times per month. On an apple iPhone 7, why wouldn’t i just be able to use my fingerprint if there is something that needs to be secure in this app. I can’t imagine what would need a password anyway except that Toyota may be afraid someone would steal this worthless app. I finally gave up and deleted this app from my phone around Christmas. The car is fine still for phone calls and Siri. It just doesn’t support pandora or other apps. I would encourage you not to download this app, as it will make you not like Toyota. Removing the app, made me enjoy the car much more. It’s now April, 2018, and I have nothing to complain about with my Highlander. I noticed that it is no longer in the App Store. Maybe Toyota realized the we’re doing more damage than good with this app. Also, it’s disappointing to see that a multimillion dollar car manufacturer never addressed even a single complaint in here. Don’t they have anyone in their customer relations department other than advertising executives?

Garbage App

Joe Snegs

The only bad thing about my 2018 4Runner is this app. It constantly logs me out and looks like an app for an IPhone 3G. So outdated and prehistoric. Please fix this TOYOTA.
