No update in 4 months? My 2017 Toyota is obsolete

Worthless app. Only my iPhone 8 hands free calling works. I cannot stream audio or use entune functions reliably or at all. Music skips and cuts out. Entune ruins my ownership experience.

After having carplay for a year, this is a joke. Navigation can’t find state parks or common addresses. You need to speak an entire first name, last name and mobile or home. Update: to make a call or use the navigation, I turn off Bluetooth, uses Siri and continue on my way. Piece of crap. I will not be buying a Toyota Highlander for the wife due to how bad this system is.

Horrible app, never works on consecutive link ups and always malfunctions in different manners such that debug is impossible. JBL sound system is weak at best, poorly designed, and lacking features. My $20 China-made Bluetooth speaker has better functionality and quality, really. Buy a Honda.

My main issue are the constant sign ins that you have to do. You sign in one day and three days later, you have to do the same thing again. WORTHLESS! After I finish this review, I’m going to delete it. Every time I connect my iPhone to my 2017 Highlander or the phone gets connected via Bluetooth when I remote start my car, it asks for permission to enable the app...guess what you have to do if you want to enable it? You guessed correct- sign in once again to this worthless app. I wish the reviews would allow “zero” stars!!!!!

This app represents Toyotas hubris to think they could outdo Android auto and Apple carplay. Newsflash, they cant. The app is so horribly implemented I will likely return the car if future updates do not include the airplay and android auto features. Welcome to 2018 toyota— get with it!!

The entire entune system is terrible, the app, the dashboard. Toyota needs to dump it and get apple play.

This app is the opposite of a dependable Toyota car. It’s junk, almost 2x weekly, if not more you have to re-login to the app every time you start the car and it starts the app. You think Toyota would get the hint with near 1,000 ratings at 1 star. This is the biggest pile of software I’ve seen since DOS.

Entune is a complete joke! I will never buy another Toyota again, period! Toyota, Get with a real tech company like Apple and integrate CarPlay so that we finally have something that works reliably every-time!
A Disappointment

My 2014 RAV4 has Toyota’s Entune and I have been hoping that they would improve it but alas it is still problematic. The Pandora app has a lot of bugs and the other apps are very limited.
