Doesnt work in High Sierra : [[[

This apps so useful but it doesnt work no matter what with High Sierra and ios 12.3.1 on an XR :[[[ I love this app and its so useful but its gone randomly all of a sudden & this app was way more expensive than most Ive even payed more for upgrades on the earlier release. This isnt fair here : [[[

This is it!

This is a major upgrade from the original. Worth every penny. I’ve used touchable since the beginning and although it was better than other Ableton controllers, I struggled with some of the functionality and screens. This pro version fixed all of the issues I had with the original touchable. The screen and text is so clear. The various windows are much more intuitive. They kept it familiar to the original but managed to improve the ease and functionality of getting around and getting things done. This is now easier than my Push 2, although I’m using them both in different areas of my setup. Well done on this version! Well done!

Seems Like Some Early Bugs to Be Worked Out

I’m just starting to run through the app to learn the basics and I am running into problems. It is closing out suddenly when I try to add Omnisphere from the browser. Also one of the clip cells keeps flashing the red circle as if to say ready to record even though the track isn’t in focus nor is it reflected on my Mac. When I am in Clip View module and scroll far right the tracks headers stop when I reach the end but the clip columns below keep going (detached from the headers). May need some tuning up before the app is really usable. I’m optimistic though. It’s a really nice looking app and if it becomes solid I can envision it being awesome.

Easier on the eyes. Some early bugs.

A bit easier to look at. I like some clip editing tweaks. This app has closed on me a couple times while in wired mode, though I was not on the latest iOS version. Just updated so I’ll see if there’s an improvement. Not sure I consider it an upgrade as of yet. Not that it is bad, but I just don’t yet see what this app does better that touchable 3. However I am happy to support the developer, when comparing what this can do to my push2. Especially with cost in mind. 10/17/2018 Update: to clarify, its cool that all the device templates come with this version. Since I already had them this feature didn’t impact me. I don’t use the custom layout features at all, so again that’s another big feature that doesn’t affect me. After switching back and forth between touchable pro and touchable 3 I definitely prefer pro. Much easier on the eyes for existences periods. I’ve removed touchable 3 at this point.

Much much better

I play with it for the first time last night and I was having a blast. With this new version you can preview the sounds on the packs in ableton. A big deal for me. You can see and edit midi and audio clips from within the app. Another big deal. I love the accurate recreation of almost all the instruments and effects inside the app for free (I had to pay for this before). Although I found myself struggling a little bit with the controls in instruments like Analog and Operator because I can’t read the labels and names in those devices. They’re too small. But it’s understandable given the limited space that the designers had available. It keeps on crashing when you turn on the arm button in the keyboard section on both iphone and ipad. But this is gonna be fixed in future versions for sure. Stability problems aside, When I was playing with it, I felt very little to no latency at all. And I was using a wifi Connection. I love my Push 2, and I love the way I feel when I touch real buttons. So I don’t think touchable pro is gonna replace it completely anytime soon. But I have to be honest and say that my perception is that the push can only do like 35% of what this app does. Crazy Update 1.0.02 Thanks for the added options with the fonts size and thickness, it was really nice to see that you listen. Playing from my Iphone, I still have to look for my glasses in the quantization menu. And when I increase the font’s size to much the letters go off the buttons. That problem doesn’t exist in the ipad. I was playing with the X/Y pads. This is one of my favorite parts. Very interesting the level of randomness that can be applied here. One issue that I found in the ipad here is when I split the screen, for some reason the second x/y pad instance doesn’t mirror the actions of the first. Also if I disconect the ipad from the midi cable, or if I delete an instrument or effect, The x/y pad forgets all the parameters that were assigned to other instruments or effects.

Game changer!

Running on iPad mini / Ableton 10 / USB. This app is really well thought out and responsive. I just started using it and already have discovered new Live workflows. The Device controls are sooo good. Invaluable creative tool!

I can’t use this because the PC Server installer file (touchAble_418_x64.exe is malicious according to hybrid-analysis.com.

Great job!

Fantastic update. Love the new layout and features. Totally stable for live performance as well as studio work. Really appreciate your work.

Huge DOWNGRADE from original
Adrian GH

I paid for this by mistake since I thought it would be a free update - the way it’s always been. This charged me $29.99 for the app but the worst part is that it does NOT EVEN CONNECT TO ABLETON. not wireless, not wired, not adhoc. This app is completely useless to me and luckily I still have the last version of touchable 3 which still connects. Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on this app. It does NOT work. Don’t say you were not warned.

Almost but nah.
JPJdc

All promise. No delivery. Can’t even open the application without it crashing.
