Still works in mid-2020

This app is fidgety sometimes, and it takes some work to get the plugin on your PC synced up with iOS, but how else can you stream iOS audio into Ableton on a PC? This app still can do that.

Excellent

(10-2020) Is this app no longer being made? I’ve been using Studiomux for several years and it’s great. Along with AudioBus I’m able to digitally transfer 8 stereo tracks of some of the great synths only avail on iOS to Digital Performer without trouble. I found the setup a little unintuitive but that might be an unfair criticism, because once you spend just a little time with it you’ll get it, plus you can save sessions for later. If you want to transfer the audio of your favorite synths and other sound producing devices to your favorite desktop DAW, this is your app. The developer is responsive and sent me a beta server app when I upgrade macOS. IMO, if you use iOS with macOS based music making apps, you’re going to need this.

MacOSX app doesn’t work on Catalina

I will update the review if this is fixed - dead in water right now. If ur on Catalina, wait until later to try it, as I am.

Doesn’t work with macOS Catalina

Was very excited to try studiomux’s audio routing based upon several (admittedly ancient) reddit comments. Decided I’d give it a go despite the obvious lack of love in the reviews here, figuring I’d put in a little work to suss it out. Even worked through the fact that all the links on its App Store page (studiomux.net, audiomux.net, and facebook.com/studiomux) are all broken, finding the host-side server software at zerodebug.com. The real showstopper, however, is that the package won’t run on my Mac. Don’t make the same $10 mistake I did!

What’s up with this app??

All that ever happens with this app is “studiomux is loading.”. I can’t find any one or any place to get any info.

Excellent idea. Not there yet.

Love the idea but the sustain pedal CC isn’t working for Auv3 and remote midi. That’s a big problem for me. Only works some IAA’s and that’s if they even load. My main apps aren’t IAA by the way. I haven’t even tried the audio features yet but these problems really defeat a key purpose me right now. Hope this gets fixed soon or it’s a waste of money and doesn’t fill its complete purchase purposes.
