Buyers be aware, league is scam and do not subscribe. I made the purchase yesterday and decided it is not worth the price so I requested a cancellation for my membership within 3 hours of my purchase. Guess what? League REFUSED to refund me. They would try every way to get the money from you and keep it regardless how the customer thinks. In other words, they don’t care about the customers and all they want to get is quick money - in this case, the $300 they got to keep. Also they are creepy in a way they would send emails to my school email address, even though I never shared my school email address with them. When I registered, I only used my personal email address. I don’t know how they found my school email address. Just be careful with this company. Think carefully before you decide to subscribe.
Matches not in my area

I really liked the concept but unfortunately it’s not working for me. I think people’s experience on the app depends on where you live. I’m from Minneapolis and only received about 10 matches in my area, and now almost all my matches are from Illinois or Kansas. I’m just not interested in starting an online or long distance relationship. I emailed The League and they told me Minneapolis is a new market. It’s strange that they put you on this fake waiting list to then find out there is a very small user base in your market.
Exclusive... and boring

In a word, the app is forgettable. The initial interest of joining it because of its “exclusivity” was immediately washed away by the how laughably dull the experience is. The entire app is set up to make money off of people with too much cash to burn. By being a free member, you only get three or four potential matches a day (compared to unlimited on other apps). That’s it, unless you count the “concierge” feature that just spams you with pointless rambling messages. BUT, guess what! Do you want more than three matches? You can get that, if you pay! Want someone to see your profile first? Sure, just pay! If you’re smart enough to not waste your money on the added features, the app becomes completely forgettable. You log on for thirty seconds at 5:30 to look at the three profiles you’ve been given and close it until the next day. The quality of matches isn’t any different than other apps. Compared to bumble, it’s almost identical... except you’re not limited to three matches a day. Overall, just a real lame experience. UPDATE: what’s even more laughable is that, should you meet someone and delete the app temporarily (as I did, on Bumble though), the app bars you from seeing matches should you ever redownload the app in the event you want to get back out there. I gave this app a shot for a while, deleted it when I was dating someone, and just redownloaded it tonight thinking I’d give it another shot—but unless I want to pay, I’m unable to see any matches because I’m “flaky” because I hadn’t logged in in a while. Truly unbelievable.
Waitlist scam

Was moving up in the waitlist very quickly initially. I jumped about 10 spots daily. Then my concierge offered me a deal on membership and I declined as I do not want to pay to meet someone. It has been 3 weeks since I declined the offer and since then I’ve only moved up two spaces on the waitlist. It seems they want everyone to pay for access and if you don’t pay they block you from continuing to move up in the waitlist.

This app says it selects people in your league... however it has matched me with only two people who are “in my league” in the last 2 years of having the app. Everyone else has been not up to par with either looks, education, job or all 3. Save your time and just get something else less complicated and doesn’t try to charge you for every little thing.

This is not a free app. They put you on a massive wait list and push to “join” to get off the wait list. It’s a ploy to get paid services that can be found on other apps for free. And there is nothing special of different than any other app. Just more of the same. It’s all creator generates hype.
