Fake fake fake

I’m in Miami so I get a lot of profiles to look at.. but they are all Fake fake fake!! The profiles are 90% fake, I’ve actually know a couple of them who were not even aware they were on this site. I’m pretty sure they buy these profiles from a 3rd parties where they may have been a user on. It’s so easy to see how fake they are, when it says someone is on LinkedIn (which is suppose to be people are validated), you can NEVER find them on LinkedIn even using all the education, location, and job info presented on their profile (not every person on here has their linkend set to private). Do the same thing with Facebook. If you do ever find someone on LinkedIn or Facebook and ask if they are aware they have a profile on League, they always say no. On top of it.. this is the only dating app I have (and I have them all) where not one person after 2 years has liked or communicated (on the other apps I get responses) Third.. their speed dating is so fake as well, they make it like there are 100000s of people in line and you can never quite make the list to speed date. There have been several times to test my theory, I set my alarm to get in the line, and literally the second the line opens and I add join to waitlist I somehow become the 3,786th person in line. Like 3,786 people were all like me waiting for the line to open to click join a second after it opens all at the same time ? Wonder if a class action law suite could happen for members who have paid for their subpar app ???

Paid or free worth it

I’ve been a paid member and a free member. Free is worth the time simply for league live twice a week but paid is probably worth it too. Needs more users of course.

All hype no substance

Sadly “the league” is an all-hype no-substance dating app that psychology feigns demand using a waitlist. Beyond the buggy app and fake five star reviews, once on the waitlist, you’re spammed literally daily to upgrade to the “optional” $399 in-app purchase. Beyond the wait is a puny fantasized list of “active” but mostly inactive profiles and a nonexistent social calendar. Too good to be true? It definitely is save your money for something real

I thought this out would be so much better

disappointed in Austin Texas

I do agree that the quality of people are higher than most of all the apps I’ve worked with. However, for someone that is over 55 there really isn’t much out there. I have matched with one person that I’ve talked on the phone that I don’t think they are fake. I’ve been on the site about a month and a half and found at least 5 or more fake people on the site. When I have live now I have matched with one person. I also don’t get many people from Texas on my daily matches. There’s not a phone number that I can call Customer Service. Apparently, there’s not a phone number.I think this site could be much better than it is now. I have been given an email address.

Very expensive

How is this not a scam

Tanisha jay

*update to respond to below* I DID review and rate every single person I was sent I mean it’s only 3 ppl daily not that hard. So unless none of them registered then your app is deeply flawed. I check every day just because why not and tonight I got ANOTHER repeat person I “x” previously. I also DID email the “help” and got NO response. The app is a great idea but most definitely a scam. My first dating app and thanks to this will not join any others. Waste of my valuable time. I have received the same men I declined for days now. For an app with a “long” waitlist. They must either be all women or it’s a gimmick. Deleting my app and profile. No need to wait hours to only see the same 3 men. This is NYC there is no way this is the “elite pool” of ppl.

Scam app

wamcubs

Just go to the tried and true apps. Hinge for quality and people, bumble for ease of use and quality of people, tinder for those people who haven't found bumble or hinge yet or looking for a hook up. This app had 3 Predecessors they could of picked and chose from yet they determined to make a indian scam into a dating app.

Buggy App

wolf.moon10

The app is really buggy and doesn’t display message notifications or update with sent messages. It’s very frustrating.

I was excited to join but then…

shitsdeadbrah

I was prompted to pick Male or Female. I don’t want to be part of anything that isn’t trans/ non-binary inclusive. There are so many successful and attractive gender-nonconforming individuals that this app should fight to get on their platform, what a loss.

so dumb

dumb balls

This is hands-down the most idiotic dating app I've ever seen. It was obviously made by a bunch of pretentious, phony, fake people who think they are pretty and high and mighty. I've never felt so low and stupid on an app. They literally want hundreds of dollars for you just so you can feel better about yourself. You pay them for validations. It's the complete opposite of authenticity. "The league", ha ha, who do you people think you are? This is a good example of what's wrong with our country, this is an app for the self-entitled. These words are not meant for the people on the league, the people that are paying for memberships, etc. This is all about the people who created it. I'm just mind blown that this even exists.
