Don’t do it if using your Iphone

Great app if I’m using my laptop. But when trying to open app on my phone, the app refuses to allow me to log in to my account. It’s frustrating. I’d much rather read the articles on my phone. But to access the articles, I’m forced to go to my laptop. Horrible!

App itself works very well and visual format looks great. Articles are generally top notch however for price of subscription the content could be more frequent. Would expect a daily article of quality on every major pro team in big four sports-especially in-season. Also would like to see article coverage of in-season D1 sports at least once every two weeks. Follow D1 ncaa basketball teams that have not had an in season article yet and we are almost halfway through the 2021-2022 season. Pretty sad.

This is the beast writing in the industry. The articles cover the nuances most gloss over. It’s evident the writers have developed trust and insight with the teams they cover. Well worth the subscription
Hit and miss- going to the dark side

This site is hit and miss. I subscribed because I thought ALL my teams of interest would be covered. Not so. The up and coming Memphis Grizzlies are not important enough for The Athletic to give a beat reporter. I am not sure why. They are in the NBA. Think it’s similar to the thought processes of the NY Times that recently bought them out. The Grizzlies are in “flyover country” so, who cares? The “great unwashed”attitude can only worsen with the new ownership. At least that’s what I anticipate based on the NYT’s current and past behavior. Wonder if I will be smart enough to renew my subscription?
