The writing has been great and the typography in the app is perfect. Clean and uncluttered; it’s fantastic.

Best sports writing out there, and I enjoy the reading experience on the app. Really appreciate getting to read quality beat writers from around the country.

No objectivity on how players continue to take control of all sports on all levels Continues to ruin sports with no one discussing the fans pain of being shut out of attending events due to costs, business and institutions show no fan appreciation and neither does press Sorry but it is true

Great inside info for my local sports. More in depth than the local paper. App has functioned without problems. Love it

I originally subscribed to the Athletic very interested in reading analysis that goes deeper than the paper-thin articles offered by the likes of ESPN and Bleacher Report. However, over the past year or so the content has become worse and is increasingly sparse - in some instances team coverage has been all but completely slashed. They must know that they are cutting out entire market segments; fans of one particular team typically aren’t reading many of the articles written about another. As a Kings fan I’ve spoken to plenty of others who have cancelled their subscriptions entirely due to content cuts. Disappointing

Keeps me up to date with comprehensive reporting and analysis. App is easy to use with all substance and no frills

Anytime you accidentally tap or tap and hold an embedded YouTube video anywhere on the video it autoplays full screen on iOS. Even when scrolling, even when tapping away from the play button. So you have to be extra careful to avoid touching the embedded video areas. I’ve submitted bugs and reports and they don’t read them and autorespond asking for details already provided. It’s just become a very sloppy app. Low quality checks when releasing new versions.

I keep getting notices to subscribe even though I signed up for the year. Really poor app design. It’s a shame since the writers are great.

Ken is great at his job. Don’t pull a Manfred and dump him. He’s one of the few sports journalists that I trust.
