Hit and miss- going to the dark side – The Athletic: Sports News Review

This site is hit and miss. I subscribed because I thought ALL my teams of interest would be covered. Not so. The up and coming Memphis Grizzlies are not important enough for The Athletic to give a beat reporter. I am not sure why. They are in the NBA. Think it’s similar to the thought processes of the NY Times that recently bought them out. The Grizzlies are in “flyover country” so, who cares? The “great unwashed”attitude can only worsen with the new ownership. At least that’s what I anticipate based on the NYT’s current and past behavior. Wonder if I will be smart enough to renew my subscription?
