The Athletic gets and holds my attention more frequently than does any other popular sports site. Your stories capture and hold my interest—-in-depth, yet not boringly long. Your writers tackle relevant topics and take angles that most competitors don’t.
Good app but service is horrible

I was gifted this app as a promotion offer. After subscription was just about to expired I decided to cancel it. However to my surprise the app continues “live” in my phone after being cancelled and rejected it to have it renewed. They charged my account without my knowledge. Steep fee for an app that is not worth the money. After too many requests the Athletic app refused to refund the charge they did scamming me by flashing a free trial again. I fo nit recommend this app at all. Quite a few of my people cancelled theirs already. Bad service! Bad customer service. Bad communication.

Great articles, long form pieces, in depth stuff on all major sports, they have beat writers for all major teams, great EPL coverage. If you’re gonna get one daily site, this is it.

I have been a subscriber for about a year +. The content is good, but definitely not enough. I also use Bleacher to follow the Gators and find that I have to use it to get the most current info on what is happening with Florida Gators. I doubt I will continue this subscription unless I see more.
