I actually use it as a baby monitor. When the app is working, I LOVE the camera and app. Super easy and nice picture. The problem is, the app crashes A LOT on my iPhone and won’t work. This makes it basically useless as a baby monitor when it does this. I can’t depend on it and will probably have to find a different option.

Push notifications stopped working

I initially loved this inexpensive and simple to use device and app. However, I frequently encountered times when the app would stop sending notifications when set for motion alarms. I used to be able to reboot it and it would start working again, but I’ve tried everything this time, even deleting the camera and starting from scratch again, and no luck with notifications. The app always says “setting failed” when I try to toggle to allow notifications, and I never turned it off myself so I have no idea how it got turned off to begin with. If they can fix the app glitches, it’d be a 5 star review.

Worked great for a month. Then notifications stopped working. No customer support. Tried to have on multiple devices and that really screwed things up. Don’t waste your money

APP Needs Attention!

The camera(s) I have work GREAT! However, the APP is decent as a whole, EXCEPT...NO NOTIFICATIONS! All my settings are set properly to be notified by the App, except the setting within the TENVISTY app, itself. It will not stay “ON”. Fix this and everything works perfectly as expected for the cost.

I dropped stars because more than four times I’ve had to reset the camera by pulling the cord out of the back (for if I delete and reinstall the app I lose all my photos and videos). Well now that corinavirus prohibits me from reaching my mom, I can’t do this now without help from staff, and we all agree we are going to try Ring instead because this reset problem is a PAIN! Even Comcast can remotely reset their devices? I tapped into my app in the usual way on the way over to moms house and saw she’d fallen and wasn’t responding to my verbal commands over the microphone! Thank you for the easy technology that helped me contact assistance for her sooner than I could get there.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE APP. I bought this camera specifically for motion detection. When I try to turn on notifications for motion detection, the app says “setting failed” When will the developers fix this issue??? DO NOT BUY

The app barely allows you to connect to the cameras and when it does, you have to wait for a long buffering and then a lot of times it’ll just say connection issue. I have two camera set up, and they both always have issues. Do not get these cameras or app

Cameras work great day and night, just wish there was a way to delete old recordings without having to format the sd card every time.

Just downloaded. Much faster response than older apps. Don’t know if I like the new format but will probably get used to it. So far so good. More reviews coming after further testing.

Works well, not perfect

App works very well with my camera, easy controls and capability with iPhone X. My only compliant is that push notifications won’t work with my phone. Everything is enabled yet I don’t get notified with movement alerts. That is my only issue however, overall decent and easy app.
