Features of the app are nice but it’s accuracy can be sporadic. I’ve had it give me cold temp alerts of 50 degrees when it’s been in my house in the case at 72 degrees

I use this mostly for the humidity feature, but the battery level indicator is invaluable! But it can be a bit glitchy. All in all, if I had another Taylor guitar, I would get another one.
Great for a Low humidity home

Most of the winter my guitars live in their humidipak treated cases. Same in extreme humidity some of the summer days. TaylorSense and the companion app have been quite good for giving me a sense of what’s going on inside the case and the history tracking gives me lots of data for understanding what’s going on as humidity changes in the house. I have 4 other hygrometers that I can compare to the readings from Taylor. Good news ... TaylorSense remains on target! 1 quirk early on was the app had to be shut down and restarted to get a new reading. This may have been fixed as I seem to be able to leave the app in background and simply bring it to the active screen to get a current reading. I’m a happy user!

I have this on 4 of my 8 Taylor’s and I appreciate the safety of seeing the humidity staying in safe ranges. Even more, I like the battery level readings since with this many guitars it’s easy to check to make sure a battery doesn’t die mid performance. I’d have 8 TaylorSence units except one guitar has no pickup, one’s a T5z electric and I’ve been unable to find any for sale for the two latest guitars. How about another batch, Taylor?

Love the humidity and battery monitors. Makes it easy to check both on a regular basis. Never have a battery die mid show! Also makes it possible to adjust humidity before it becomes a problem.

I can’t say enough how much I appreciate this app. The fact that Taylor Sense keeps track of the humidity and temp of my guitar along with the life of the battery powering the system really puts my mind at ease. Just by checking the app I can tell whether I need to turn on or off the dehumidifier in the room, or make any other adjustments to protect the integrity of my guitar, it’s absolutely awesome! Thanks Taylor Guitars for making another groundbreaking innovation in the world of acoustic guitars.

I have the Taylor Sense app to monitor two Taylor guitars that I own. I like having the ability to monitor humidity and battery life. My only complaint is that one of the units occasionally returns a false low temperature, and/or high or low humidity. I haven’t been able to isolate a trigger for these events, so troubleshooting is a little difficult. I don’t use any of the other functions, so can’t really comment on them. I would recommend it to a friend. Bru

I brought my K-12 in for a refresh and had the Taylorsense module installed. It works great and I am happy to get a reading of humidity in the guitar right on my iPhone.
