I deleted this before because it was to glitchy I decided to give the app another try today, so far so good. There have been two crashes already today but Nice layout everything has been sent and received quickly, no other glitches or obtrusive adds, service is actually free :)) all good so far. Lost half a star cuz two crashes in less than a day and you lost one full star because the "do not disturb" setting on my iphone does not impact your app. Not sure if that last one is within the devs power but i feel like it aught to be, perhaps i just didnt see a do not disturb within the app or have some other setting arri, i will update review in a week or two after i have used it more. So far i would recommend this app.

they stopped putting out updates a while ago, VERY BUGGY, no customer service AT ALL, not worth free that’s sad.

This is an excellent app and it comes in handy when I need to get in touch with far-away family members! The only downside is that I want to be able to use a non built ringtone. I want to be able to use any ringtone I want to use. Examples: Music Sounds
Ads hijack text keyboard

Why is this app getting worse with each update? When trying to text the ads will allow you to input 1-4 characters then the whole app will freeze while the ad changes and loads fully before you can type in more characters. Phone service has become spotty at best. Incoming calls do not ring at all, nor register on screen while app I open. app cycling kills Talkatone completely resulting in hving to reboot app continuously. Can this be fixed?

Doesn't connect or notify received texts with sound.Needs that to be fixed, if doesn't even show the red bubble notification on the app's icon, even that I had all the notifications for this app enabled on my iPhone 5... and It does the same whether connected to WiFi or data; by the way it takes long to connect to either and it is usually disconnect!! and Only when I open the app I see a day later or more that someone had texted me then!!! ALSO: Even though you have saved each friend's contacts with their name: receiving texts from them WILL APPEAR WITH NO NAME ON IT for them, just their number, so you don't know who texted you by their name, neither can you find them (with their name) you have to know their number by memory! Or you will have to check each text of several people one by one before you find the one you want! *** developer response to email them is a way of them dodging the responsibility to fix the app: IF IN FACT IS SOMETHING WE CAN FIX OURSELVES, THEN THEY SHOULD POST THE SOLUTIONS HERE. BS!

This is an awesome app!! You can call, text, and even video chat!! All for FREE!!!! Works great on most devices except iPod touch. Other wise YOU NEED THIS APP!!

Good app as long as you don't have it on both of your cell phones at the same time and have them both on. Lol. Thanks for the free version.
