Occasionally software comes along and gets rid of a common nuisance. This is one of those times ?
Good for large groups, some issues

Not ideal for non-Venmo customers OR those in non-tax states (Oregon). You can't edit a bill when it pops up with an inaccurate line (or maybe you can and I can't find it?). That being said, for large groups this could be very, very useful.
Why can't it work without LTE/4G??

When it works, it works so well and it makes group dinners easy. But why do we need WiFi instead of LTE or 4G. A lot of restaurants don't have free WiFi and it is weird to ask for a restaurant's internet name and password. Can someone help to enhance this bc I want to use this app ALL the time!
Almost perfect, not quite useful

Really need a way to *charge* others via Venmo, not just *pay* others. Use this mostly when I pick up the bill for the table and want to quickly split and charge my friends later - would rather not have to force a group of people to download and set-up an app just to settle the bill. Found this app after I had this exact same idea last week when splitting a large tab. You almost nailed it, but not quite. Great for many use-cases, but missing some rather pertinent ones.

I don't know who gave this app one star, but as a New Yorker, this has cured my soul of any grievances, given me new truths and shown me the light. Thank you, Tab, for enlightening me in a darkness of ridiculous rules. You have changed me and I am forever the most truly grateful. I am so emotional.
Must-Have App

This app has changed everything. Gone are the days of getting stuck tipping way more than you owe because your friends were ordering top shelf cocktails and you were drinking water and at the end you just split tip and tax. It's so fast, so easy, and takes all the awkwardness out of telling everyone what they owe at the end of a meal. Being able to split things, to break up items that servers group together.. it's like the app developers have thought of everything. The ONLY qualm I have with tab is that the bills disappear after a bit. Would really help the morning after a night out to be able to review receipts from the night before. Other than that, WOW. Amazing.

MUST HAVE This App. The best App to use for easy breakdown of your checks at a restaurant. Makes the whole process simplistic. Our waitress was even happy to hear they didn’t have to split the checks.
