Almost perfect

This app is is very intuitive to use- can you do the math in your head/with a calculator? Of course, but if you are looking at an app like this chances are you want to just make things easier. I like that you can keep track of the food someone ate and then use the "birthday" feature to split their share amongst everyone else. My one real gripe is that once you finish dividing up a tab you can't see the itemized receipt, only the totals for each person. Fix this feature and I will have no complaints.

Anytime someone asks me for a favorite app suggestion, I recommend Tab. When you're eating out with a large group of people or ordering drinks, Tab allows you to easily split the bill. Gone are the days of paying $16 for a side salad because your friends decide to split the bill evenly. No more feeling obligated to stuff your face to get your fair share. With Tab, everyone eats what they want to eat and pays accordingly. It's amazing!
Simple App, however needs work

I love the idea and the technology is mostly there, but why can't I go back later and make changes? Why just an hour limitation? This makes the app only good if you are at the table. What about if you do the tab splitting later? Also how can I delete old bills? Why did the last bill add a discount of $13.50 at the tax and tip stage? There was no discount anywhere. This "discount" didn't show up the first two times I did the bill. Also, a fully manual option would be nice, with the same ability to split a Birthday meal. Thanks for listening!

Sure, you can calculate the bill in your head or even take a bit of time to open the calc app on your phone. But honestly, after food and drinks I get too lazy. This is an easy app to use and ensures that the bill is broken our equitably for all.

Soooooooo convenient and very useful. Please don't get ride of this app I will die splitting up bills in big groups. I used to use the Billr app and al of a sudden it disappeared so thanks to that I found this app. Best ever!!!
Crippling app timeouts

Started a tab during group outing, went back after a meeting, and the app cannot finish editing the tab. Switching back to google spreadsheets that don't timeout. Hopefully this bug can be fixed in a later version.
The only tip calculator and splitter you need!

Really useful. Would like a way to delete old or unneeded bills and a way to view the items each person had on the summary screen.
