The only thing I wish there was is a cooperative function, so I could plan with my partner.

As a creative writer, I tend to follow the Snowflake Method which expands in depth. Maybe for characters and scenes to have an area for more depth. Also adding the ”anti-hero” title to the character list would be helpful.

It does exactly what I wanted, and it’s very easy to use. Definitely a good choice

I can’t believe this app is free! I have spent money on apps that are less helpful than this. The app allows you to record different details about characters and locations, and even provides a helpful guide explaining different types of characters, scenes, etc. No more searching through what I’ve already written to find out a character’s eye color. You can tie it all together by adding scenes. I especially found the chronological timeline helpful, which helps you keep track of when your scenes are occurring. You can also record other details including the characters, locations, and type of scene. The statistics are not necessary but I do enjoy looking at my top five characters and locations. TL;DR - Absolutely necessary for any writer. My whole writing process would not be the same without it.

This has most of the basics but with a quirky and surprising user interface. Took me quite a frustrating while before I noticed that some fields were entered immediately while others require hitting a “check” button, (and not just the “back” button). Use of color is confusing and not well explained. Only one plot per scene. And export/print is separate to each and every page. No folding. No cork board. But does support cloud. I won’t be using it but it is mostly usable.

Just what I was looking for to help jot my ideas and plots and characters down. Literally just started using it and know I’ll be hooked on this for a loooooooong time. The one thing I would like to see added is a timeline function. Something linear that can visually show you what happens instead of looking at drag-and-drop boxes. This would help me out immensely with character development as I can develop a backstory I can glance at and see when things could/should have happened.

I love this app so much. It works preperly. 1 thing that I wish to add is shortcut for bluetooth keyboard. If I can control ‘new document’ or ‘move to previous/later page’ on my keyboard, it would be much more convenient.
U is for uranium...BOMBS!
This app has helped me be more productive as a writer. I don’t think I’ve ever had a more structured plot, thanks to this app. One suggestion I would like to make is a section to put important objects. Lots of good stories have plot-driving objects, like the ring from Lord of the Rings and King Arthur’s sword in the stone. It could have descriptions like the special properties it has. Just a suggestion, since it can be confusing to put stuff in the character section, but I’m otherwise in love with this app!

Simplistic. Accessible toVO. Gets the job done but importing into Scrivener could be improved.

This app is very easy to use and keeps me organized though I do have some minor critiques. I think it could use another tab for world building (landmarks, wars, government structure, religions, etc.) as there isn’t really a place for that anywhere else unless you use the “Notes” feature. Also, I think you should be able to select multiple character roles for each character (ex. Dumbledore: mentor, confidante, protagonist’s help, etc.). Other than that, I think it’s fantastic.
