A must-have for writers!

devinitlee

I adore this app; it’s one of the best mobile tools for writers that I’ve ever used. The only drawback is there’s no customizing fields, so you’re limited to the standard format. Maybe in a future update, customization will be an option? Overall, still a wonderful creation.

Good!

NorCal Doug

Good starter to get organized.

Useful and efficient

First Enchanter

I’m always writing and storyboarding but I don’t really have a place to keep it all. This app was perfect for organizing and maintaining all my characters and plot lines. Only criticisms are that it randomly closes- which isn’t too bad because it keeps everything saved constantly and that sometimes it’s hard to back out of an area I’m typing in to go to another area. Even so, I highly recommend this app to writers.

Good but limited

MuchoSpanish.com

I like how I can see the order of the scenes according to acts. I wish the statistics page was more complete. Statistics may not be the name for what I want. Maybe I want a table seeing where each scene and character appear.

My fave app

Helps organize But its starting to foreclose automatically after tapping the app to open on iPad.

Simple Outliner also Teaches Writing

StCorbiniansBear

This is not a full-fledged novel-writing tool like Scrivener. What it is is a handy, easy-to-use tool for scenes, chapters, settings, and characters. Not only that, but don’t miss the definitions that form a nice bag of writing instruction. The other apps are okay for exercising your writing muscles if your creativity needs a jog.

Great app for writers

SeoulLight

Great app! Easy to use and practical for quick writing and planning. Some suggestions: Would love a time line option, where you could just have dates and important events that could be in linear form and moved around easily. Maybe a character relationship map? Also for fantasy writers out there, a 'definition' tab for roles or words made up to reference back to. Look forward to using this app in the future!

Lost Hours of Work

Abeee Froman

I had hours worth of work on my project that was randomly lost during a back up. I opened the project and everything was set back to the “Master Cat” default story. I was able to save over a previous back up, but I lost an entire days work. I might continue using the app and send it to myself daily, but this is unacceptable with an app that costs money. It’s a shame because this app initially felt like a blessing. Unfortunately it was too good to be true.

Great tool

Project1717

Great for keeping track of ideas and for adding to current projects when you don’t have time to whip out your laptop. Sync feature really helpful!

Jury’s still out...

SpOoNMaN LIVE

I started using the app and found it helpful. Unfortunately I’ve run into a very buggy problem. When selecting characters to add into a scene, selecting one will also select another not in the scene. When I deselect the character not in the scene, it deselects the character I wanted to add to the scene.
