Incredibly Frustrating

JohnEDP

Everything in the app is very difficult for no reason; really wish I could just pay with cash for laundry instead of using this app

Lack of flexibility

For starters, only being able to add fixed increment amounts of money is bogus since they don’t align with how much a wash/dry combo is. If users are already allowed to charge Apple Pay, why not let us do it for every load? On a more serious note, there should be a way for users to work around the issue of others not emptying their loads from the washer and dryer. Now I’m not an expert, but maybe the option to relentlessly ping other users to move their clothes so that you can make more money from people doing more loads? Or even more simple, allow me to get a notification whenever a new wash/dry opens up so that I can know when to go do/move my load.

Good luck if you need a refund

I thought this would be a good tool to wash clothes at the laundromat around the corner from my home but good luck if you need a refund. After my first wash I accidentally hit the pay now button again which I didn’t want to do. It’s confusing because it doesn’t go right back to your account screen after a wash is done. This makes it very confusing to you. After going back-and-forth with the app representative they can’t do anything on there and if you need a refund. You would have to contact the owner and nine times out of 10 sometimes the owners are not at the laundromat. I just chucked it up and someone is going to have a free wash on me. In this economy when people are trying to save this app is doing no good if you cannot cancel a wash via the app. Which I find very weird if you can start a wash but can’t cancel a wash via the app. They need to work on this .I’m deleting for now

Extremely glitchy

Best Audio Game

This app is great when it works. It hasn't worked for me in about a month. It is easy to use, but it glitches out more often than it works. It needs a serious overhaul if it is going to be useful in the future. It is not connecting to any of the machines. It even kicked me out of my account without me signing out. It's been updated twice in the last month and neither update fixed the issues. If it weren't for its ease of use when it did work properly, I would have deducted a star or two. It has the potential to be a five star app, but it is currently performing like a one star app.

Works as it should

App works great, I am able to pay for my laundry. I I wish I could fil maintenance requests from the app. I also wish that the app could use my location to detainee what building I was in to make sure I was paying for the right laundry. I have often paid for laundry for other people in the wrong dorm.

Sorry for you if this is who your laundry providers are

Constant issues with machines not connecting to the app. When it does seem to work, be wary of double charges. And be smart, keeps quarters with you. Don’t add time to your dryer cycle from the app. Just stick a few quarters in to add more time. Outrageously expensive as well, but perhaps that’s based off of location.

Great software, great app

washmonkey

This app is really well done, and not just for this industry, but overall this is a easy to use, intuitive application.

Only 4 stars because

Jonextdoor

I think it’s a great app for laundry, and I use it at my university. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the minimum deposit amount being $10 gets a bit annoying when i only need X amount to add but it doesn’t allow it. I think there should be a $5 minimum at the least.

A crappy excuse for an app

projectspectator

Apps are supposed to make our lives easier. More specifically, this apps sole purpose is to make doing laundry faster and easier. My apartment only allows this service, which is not a problem, until it does not work at all. I could ramble on about my experience, but the short end of it is that the app did not work and I ended up having to wait in the laundry room to ask someone to pay for my dryer service while my clothes sat in there soaking wet. Still trying to figure out the problem, but if you were going to take all options away, you better make sure that your app freaking works. This is coming from someone who has a published app on the App Store as well. So, if QA is reading this, you guys have a pretty major problem with the overall UX. Bugs like this shouldn’t be a problem after 2+ years of being live.
