This use to be good

Don’t count on recording something through the app. Because it says it’s recording and then when you go to your DVR to look for it it’s not there!

Spectrum is a total joke of a company and this “app” is utter garbage. Good luck trying to get through a show with out it buffering 5 times and don’t even bother watching anything weekends. At least it’s free right?

Prior to the Brighthouse buyout by spectrum, the Brighthouse app worked 90% of the time. This app, never works. I’ve wasted too much time trying.

What’s the point of having an option to remotely set up a recording if it never EVER works??? Works on directv app why can it work here?

Not only is this app not supported by my 2011 Samsung Smart TV, it’s not compatible with Apple TV. Who launches a steaming video product without getting on board with Apple? And at the gym I couldn’t sign in to Spectrum Plus wireless and see all my channels. So it’s fairly useless at this point....

This tends to freeze. TW restricts the user to their home WiFi which greatly reduces the value of the app; why do I need an app for this when I have a full size television? Lately, upon login it notices that I am on wifi. My device is always on wifi. It suddenly misidentifies my home network so it denies me access to the content I am paying to use. This ridiculous problem has persisted across updates. It should not matter what WiFi network I am using in the first place, I am paying for the content. The fact that I am on the same network that they misidentify is maddening. Updates remove the password, requiring the user to re-enter (look it up) before using the service he has paid to use. Apps like this demonstrate why so many people are dropping cable. Costs keep rising and service gets worse. Update: Nothing about this has gotten better. Spectrum has had time, and customer input. At this point it is clear that they have no interest in customer needs.


Wrong time zone!

The app works about like I would expect, except I'm on the west coast and the app displays east coast times. This has been going on for several months now throughout several application “upgrades.“ I contacted customer service, who kicked it up the chain, but still no resolution. There's no option in the settings to set or correct your time zone, so I'm stuck with it. This isn’t just me; it is a problem with every Spectrum user around here that I’ve been able to check with—even the escalation technicians who came out to resolve a cable connectivity issue. It does not work correctly for anyone in my area.

I was trying to watch a show and the quality got so bad I could not tell what was happening. I have spectrum internet so shouldn’t I have some half decent quality to try and watch my show like honestly it’s pathetic how bad this app runs. If I’m going to pay you every month then I should get fast internet and decent quality shows. Get you act together spectrum

What good is to have the app if you cannot watch a show you recorded on your phone. When you see the show in your recording section the app only allows you to watch the show on the tv. Stupid
