Why would an app like this only work on your home network? (1) if I was on my home network I would watch my television. (2) why do I have to have your Internet to unlock services I should have for subscribing to television?

My app hasn’t worked in about a week, keeps saying check internet connection but my internet is working fine please fix soon

What happened to the ability to program recordings in the app? All it says is “airing”, “on demand” or “other” but no icons to set recordings up! Please fix!
